Convenient & Friendly Stay in Jeju
Among the 4 hotels I booked for this trip, this one had the most guest-friendly check-in/out policy — check-in after 2 PM and check-out before 12 PM, unlike many hotels in Busan that require check-in after 4 PM (even 8 PM!) and check-out before 10 AM.
The staff was friendly, though she only spoke Chinese — but no problem, she was sweet and used a translation app to communicate.
The room was small and didn’t have a closet or hanger, but it was clean, new, and comfortable. Perfect if you just need a safe and convenient place to sleep.
Great location, only 20 minutes to the airport, with many bus routes nearby for exploring Jeju’s top sights.

This is a really nice hotel, and the stay was wonderful. The room was very clean, with a beautiful ocean view. It also had a microwave, and provided toothbrushes, toothpaste, and bath towels. P.S. The owner was very kind and gave us snacks. We couldn't get a taxi the day we left, but the owner used a Korean app to help us get one. Thank you so much! 🥹🫶🏻 We'll definitely come back next time we have the chance!💕

A great place to take a quiet rest while enjoying the view, the location of the Olle Market is great, just a 10-minute walk away, and the room is filled with sunlight, giving you comfort from the moment you enter! Highly recommended👍🏻

This was a weird hotel. For the price I guess it’s ok, but the room is extremely big, for no reason. The bed is very uncomfortable and when we asked for 2 additional pillows (we each got one that was flat as a pancake), the staff said they “didn’t have pillows”. What kind of a hotel doesn’t have additional pillows? I never had this experience. The location is convenient if you want to go out in the evening, but during the day it’s a ghost town. It’s close to the airport, but not noisy, which is good. All in all, a weird experience. If you want a cheap stay, and don’t mind a horrible bed…I guess it’s ok. And yes, it has a nice bathtub, which is always a plus!

The Oakra Hotel is just in the Jeju city, around 3 kms from the airport, 10 minutes by taxi. Also very close to Nuwemaru market and it’s just on the road where you can find a bus station to get take buses for get around the island. There’s no reception at the hotel, you have to check in via machine and you can’t check in before 3 pm. At the reception hall there’s a sitting arrangement where you can wait or relax, there’s a coffee machine also which is free to use. The rooms are spacious and clean. Highly recommend.

This hotel was very clean. They have a kiosk at the entrance to check in, but since we don’t speak the language a worker gave us the key. It was close to
the airport so that is convenient. Probably took 10 to 15 minutes to get to the airport and the taxi charged us 6 or 7,000 won. It’s a basic but clean hotel, it’s relatively new. I would stay here for a flight, but other than that I would prefer to be closer to a nice beach.

LLeeds andyAlthough the hotel is old, it is cheap and the location is excellent. The business district is nearby. It is convenient to eat and don't worry. The most suitable arrangement for the last day of the trip is to buy a letter at Dongmen Market near Qixing Street.
In terms of facilities, the TV in the room is always larger than the hotel of the same level.
Basically there are facilities in the hotel. This old hotel can provide good.
AAnne046595Although not very new place, the location is really good, quiet and comfortable.
The house is very clean and tidy, toothbrush, toothpaste and toiletries will be given to you, there is also a basic water lotion hairspray in the house, etc.
Played in Jeju Island for more than a week, stayed in three hotels, this is the most satisfying! The big sister at the front desk is not very Chinese, but tell her your order number to take the key, the person is also very kind
GGuest UserOld hotel in a great location - busy intersection. Walkable to waterfall and to market. The basement carpark is a godsend. We were so happy to be able to park in the basement then take the lift direct to our room. Its so helpful on rainy days.
If you do not speak Korean, and your rental vehicle GPS cannot locate the hotel it can be very tricky. Our GPS pointed us to a carpark space behind the hotel and it was difficult navigating out. It was lucky that we recognise the building exterior. In Jeju, most smaller hotels will not put their English names on the building, so either you memorize the Korean name or you have to try your luck.
The room is small, but expected as the room rate is low. So taper your expectations and you will love it.
GGuest UserI booked in this hotel cause I wanted to rest on a quiet place with ocean view at an affordable price, and that's exactly what I got. The room was very clean and spacious, the washroom too. The staff was friendly. There's restaurants in walking distance, as well as cafes and convinience stores.
I imagine the hotel is even better for summer stays, since when I stayed it was winter and very windy, and the windows aren't properly sealed so some breeze gets through it at times. Nevertheless, I enjoy my stay, it was the best I had on my budget trip of one month through Korea. The only real complain would be the very late check in time of 5pm, although they allow to drop the luggage earlier. I'd definitely stay here again.

PPaulyn HabijanI stayed here for 2 nights as I'm climbing Hallasan the next day. It's a self checkin and the keys were prepared as I arrived. It feels homey, it's clean, tho a bit old of a building. It's very much like a motel we see in kdramas lol. The location i convenient, there's a lot of convenience store nearby, and a Starbucks and Mcdonalds a few blocks away. The owner is an older man and is very kind. I slept comfortably, thank you so much. My only thing here is that there is no elevator so I had to carry my heavy luggage up and down the stairs. It was tough especially my knees hurt so bad from the climb the day before checkout, but overall good stay.

Great
MM507418****I saw a user say the hostess gave him a ride to the airport. I was quite surprised to see this comment. I think it proves the hostess's kindness. The room was clean; I didn't see any bugs, not even a mosquito. Water was delivered every day (although one day they didn't, but I asked for it and they immediately gave it the next day). The hostess was very kind. The host was a little serious, but he waved goodbye when we left. I highly recommend this hotel. They even provide a charger! The price is not expensive, but it's best to bring your own slippers, hahaha. The bathroom slippers were a bit old, but the bathroom was clean and provided everything except toothbrushes. There's a cafe next to the hotel called About, and it's insanely delicious! The cream is so fresh and sweet!
