珏丸美Anantara Peace Haven Tangalle Resort is located on the secluded beach of Tangalle, Sri Lanka, next to a lush coconut plantation. The resort combines primitive ecology with modernity. Lizards lazily climb on the trees, squirrels and seagulls come to ask for food. The environment is beautiful and quiet, like a corner of heaven.
Rooms
Each sea view room or garden view room has a balcony or terrace. I booked a supreme sea view room, which costs more than RMB 1,600 per night, which is quite luxurious in Sri Lanka. The room is fully equipped, and the welcome cake and the general manager's handwritten greeting card are already placed on the table. There is a separate shower room, a bathtub and Themae bathroom products.
Dining
The resort is equipped with 6 dining venues, including a seaside restaurant with Sri Lankan-style teppanyaki (BBQ on a private beach) and an Italian specialty restaurant (romantic candlelight dinner on the cliff).
Swimming pool
The outdoor swimming pool is a three-tiered infinity pool with lounge chairs in the water on the first floor. There are almost no people in the entire swimming pool. The water is not deep, it is a paradise for children, just lie on the lounge chair in the water and watch. In addition, the villa has a private small swimming pool, but the price is too high.
Beach
The private beach here faces the Indian Ocean. There is almost no one except our family. Lying on the beach, looking at the blue sky, listening to the sound of the waves, you can immediately enter a meditative state. It is really suitable for thinking about problems here.

Check-in experience
This resort has no tour groups staying. It is mainly European guests, and there are almost no Chinese people. In fact, Chinese people rarely come to Tangalle. As soon as we entered the lobby, three Sri Lankan singers began to play drums and sing to welcome us. The waiter guided us to sit down and then helped us to check in. At this time, welcome juice was also delivered. It was in a cup made of coconut shells and filled with coconut juice. The wet towel was soaked with local herbs. After wiping my face, I felt clear-headed and clear-eyed. Everything seemed exquisite, solemn and noble, and lived up to our expectations. After completing the formalities, the waiter guided us to the room and introduced all the facilities in the room. In the evening, we enjoyed a family candlelight dinner in the reserved Italian restaurant, listening to the waves hitting the rock wall and looking up at the Milky Way above our heads. It was so refreshing. It can be said that this hotel has no disadvantages except that it is a bit expensive.
