I suddenly wanted to eat Asian-style seafood dishes, so I went to The Red Chamber. The restaurant is quite large, and there were not many people that day. The cooked seafood platter was just right for two people. It was quite rich in content, and the overall taste was slightly spicy, but the whole platter was the same sauce, so the taste was still a bit monotonous. There was also a small portion of ink-shaped pastry on the side, which was very crispy, but a little oily. The oysters were poured with hot oil, so the meat was still tender. The shrimp meat was not that kind of inexplicably crispy. The mussels were not cooked for a long time, and the mussels were large and tender, and the scallops were also tender. The sand spitting of the razor clams was handled quite well, and only one was slightly sandy. Most of the conchs were okay. The big mussels were too dry, I didn’t like them, and basically gave them to the beard. There were two crayfish that tasted a bit strange. For me, this flavor of sauce is not suitable for crayfish. In general, the quality of the ingredients in The Red Chamber's cooked seafood platter is pretty good. When cooking shellfish, most of them focus on the tenderness of the meat. However, the whole platter has the same taste, which is a bit monotonous. In terms of price, a cooked platter is 69 euros, which suddenly brings the average price per person to 35 euros per person without drinks.
