This established route, opened in the 1960s, embodies the subtleties of Japanese travel: the official schedule is precise to the minute, and buses, cable cars, and hikes flow seamlessly together, even the crowdedness feels orderly. Though the path is long, you'll always find your own unique vantage point—whether you pause to watch the clouds weave a web across the mountainside, or chase fallen leaves along the pine needle-covered trail. In autumn, the Kurobe Alpine Route 🚡 offers breathtaking views of snow-capped mountains and lakes at an altitude of 3000 meters – every snapshot is a masterpiece! 🚶‍♀️Super Practical Itinerary: Arrive at Ogisawa Station at 8 AM (it's recommended to buy a combined ticket in advance). From here, you'll experience seamless switching between six different modes of transportation: first, a 16-minute tunnel train ride, then a 20-minute hike through a snow mountain tunnel, followed by a 5-minute Kurobe Ropeway ride that takes you straight to the summit! After a 7-minute cable car ride and a 10-minute tunnel tram ride, you'll reach Murodo Station! 💨 ⏰Tips: 1. Allow 5-6 hours for the entire trip, avoiding the peak hours of 11 AM to 1 PM. 2. The temperature on the mountain is about 15 degrees Celsius lower than at the foot, so remember to bring a windproof jacket. 3.
