Jiang Jia Qiao (Dongguan Street Branch)

This fast food restaurant in the old city of Yangzhou is still very popular. It was almost full when I came for lunch at noon. I ordered a bowl of shrimp noodles. The taste was good. The buns here are also said to be very good. [Taste] OK [Environment] Average [Service] OK

One day at the beginning of this month, I suddenly took the high-speed rail to Yangzhou alone. After walking around Dongguan Street from Geyuan for a while, I looked at many snack shops and decided to go to the nearby Jiangjiaqiao Dumpling Noodle Shop for a meal. I knew I couldn't eat much by myself, but since I was here and the price was so cheap, I could take it back to the hotel as a midnight snack if I couldn't finish it on the spot. So I ordered these~ Bamboo shoot and meat pot stickers: 7 yuan. Freshly baked, full of juice. The bottom is slightly crispy, the skin is thin and the meat is slightly sweet. Recommended! Shrimp roe dumpling noodles: 7 yuan. When I went to the stove to give the order, I reminded again and again that the noodles were too little, and the aunties in the kitchen laughed. The quantity was too large. There were so many wonton dumplings with thin noodles, and the soup base had pepper. The wonton dumplings were delicious and the noodles were chewy. Recommended! Pork loin soup: 13 yuan. The pork loin was clean and tender. Recommended! Boiled dried shreds: 7 yuan. When I went to get the dried shreds, the aunties inside joked that it was also too little. It was boiled one by one. Based on my experience, I reminded the aunt to put less sauce. There was dried mustard greens in it, which was a very down-to-earth taste. You can try it once. Environment: The store is very large, clean and noisy, and it is indeed visited by many locals. Let me tell you something that impressed me: Because I came alone this time, I had to find a seat first (a window seat for four people), so I put a bottle of water and a hat on and went to get food. When I came back, an old couple with a child were sitting there. They were a little surprised to see that I ordered so much. I just sat down and remembered that I didn’t take the chopsticks and spoon. The old lady sitting outside said I would help you. I was embarrassed, so I hurried over. The people of Yangzhou are very friendly. I didn’t finish eating, so I packed three pot stickers and two wontons, took a taxi to walk by the canal, and then ate the rest by the river.

Come here to eat dumplings and noodles in the morning~ It's at the intersection outside Dongguan Street. The place is easy to find. I had already inquired about it the day before when I passed by. Haha~ This dumpling noodle is really delicious~ The environment feels like a state-owned old brand. The place is quite large. If you miss the meal time, there are not many people. Just pick up the food yourself after ordering~ The standard is shrimp roe dumplings and noodles + bamboo shoots and meat pot stickers Because I was afraid of too much noodles, I ordered shrimp roe wontons. It's delicious. I like the pepper flavor. It's hot~ The bamboo shoots and meat pot stickers may not be freshly baked, so it feels a little worse. The meat filling is not very big, and it's a little oily~

When you come to Jinan, you must try the local special snacks. Stir-fried noodles are absolutely indispensable. Our family of three ordered several steamed buns. Of course, the fillings are different, and the focus is on crab roe. Ah, their fried dumplings are also very good, and the most important thing is the dumpling noodles. It tastes great with soup. In particular, the crab roe buns are absolutely awesome and authentic. Friends who go there must try it, it's great. The only flaw is that the environment of his house is a little worse, but it doesn't matter, the taste is the first.

The Yangzhou snacks at Jiangjiaqiao Dumpling and Noodle House are inexpensive and taste great. It is close to Dongguan Street, which is full of historical buildings, parks, hotels, bookstores and specialty shops. It is definitely worth a visit.
