The whole process was to tear a kind of soft bread called injera bread into small pieces by hand and wrap various dishes to eat. The tableware used was plates and cups. It seems that Ethiopians prefer sour food, whether it is honey wine, injera bread or dishes cooked with local special seasonings. The only thing I didn't have the courage to try was the special seasoned raw beef filling. ​

The restaurant next to the outdoor pool of the InterContinental Hotel is the most expensive meal we had in Cairo. The set menu at night is very large. Although the various meats are not delicious, they still feel very fresh. The outdoor space of the entire restaurant faces the Nile River directly, where the Cairo Tower can be seen. It is still very beautiful at sunset. There are some cruise ships dotted on the river at night. It feels good to drink wine in the breeze.

There are 5 restaurants to eat at. We ate at 3 of them. The Lesser Faker was Egyptian & by far the best for service & atmosphere. The pita's were fab here as was our dinner. Book these places if you intend to eat after 10pm or at week-ends as they become very busy & get booked up. They have entertainment each night which is good. The Asia Bar food was excellent but the food goes cold quick as there is no hot plates to keep it warm in the middle of the table.
