Le Caveau de la Huchette

It’s in a basement cave in an old building, cramped and crowded, but super cool.

One of the things on my travel bucket list was to visit jazz bars in each country, and in Paris, I went to 'Caveau de la Huchette', a jazz bar famous for being the filming location of La La Land. A bar appeared right after I entered, and a performance was held on the lower floor. There were quite a few Koreans as well as locals who came to dance. I ordered a glass of beer and sat down near the stage. The players with saxophones, clarinet, and trumpets entered, introduced themselves briefly, and started playing. It was an ecstatic performance. #France #Paris #JazzBar 🎷🎺 To the music, couples naturally took over the center of the stage. From young couples dancing swing dances to old couples dancing blues while looking into each other's eyes, I smiled and realized I was the only one missing.... 📍Le Caveau de la Huchette, Paris, France
