All I can say is this place is amazing. The meat is so juicy and tender. We started out with a very expensive meat combo. It had 6 pieces of meat and all were very good. We then ordered additional meats including tongue, cheek, and short ribs. We only ordered the regular, they also have premium and specialty items. The regular items were more than good enough. I'm from the Bay Area and can say that the meat here is much better than even the best yakiniku places like St. Clark. It tastes better than prime meat. This is one of my favorite yakiniku places. A must try if you're in the Fukuoka area.

There are fish tanks in front of the restaurant with live seafood. The food is delicious and fresh, and it is still moving when it is served (!). We ordered sashimi platter, tempura, fried shrimp, beef and pork. The service is excellent. Live lobster and sashimi (second course was miso soup), deluxe seafood platter, fresh oysters and clams in season. The restaurant is full from 6 o'clock, it is best to eat after the peak period, that is, after 8 o'clock.

We didn't have a reservation so decided to try our luck at lunch. We got there 30 minutes before the restaurant opened and were 4th in line. Once everyone with a reservation had been seated, it was first come first served. We ordered the lunch set meal and the quantity and quality of food we got was very good value for money. There is also a large pool with squid swimming in it so you really can't get any fresher than this! The squid sashimi was still moving and once we had finished the body the tentacles were taken back to the kitchen to be deep fried for our next course. The service was efficient and polite and the presentation of the food and the staff's introduction to the dishes were impeccable. This was one of the better meals we had on our trip.

It's very, very delicious and I love that the chef speaks simple English. I got it from Yoshida-san. He also tells you the names of the fish in Korean. Above all, it's a place with a great sake list.

This "visceral pot laugh" is an izakaya that is especially loved by locals in Fukuoka. The environment of this restaurant is really Japanese, and the personal dining experience is really good.
