🌋 Surabaya (2 Days, 1 Night)
Highlight: Sunrise and sea of clouds at Mount Bromo
1. Transportation:
Surabaya Juanda Airport (SUB) &rarr; Private car/charter to Surabaya city/hotel at the foot of Mount Bromo (approximately 3-4 hours).
It is recommended to contact a local travel agency in advance to arrange a jeep and guide (approximately 600k-800k IDR/car).

2. Itinerary Suggestions:
1️⃣ If you&#39;re staying in downtown Surabaya, depart for the base of Mount Bromo before 12:00 AM (accommodation in the city is generally better).
2️⃣ If you&#39;re staying at the base of the mountain, you can take a jeep to the Penanjakan Observation Deck at 3:00 AM to watch the sunrise (be sure to wear a thick jacket, as the temperature will be around 10&deg;C).

7:00 AM: Head to the crater and either ride a horse (approximately 100k IDR) or hike to the summit (if you have limited energy, consider this attraction at your discretion).

Afternoon: Return to downtown Surabaya and visit the Surabaya Zoo (where you can see Komodo lizards) for a 15k IDR entrance fee) or shop at Tunjungan Plaza.

3. Food:
Layar Seafood, the same restaurant as &quot;Flower Boy&quot; (Alipay, WeChat, and UnionPay are not accepted, so bring cash and Visa).
Soto Ayam Lamongan CAK HAR, chicken soup and rice! Locals call it a Michelin restaurant (be prepared to pay in cash).

Contact the captain in advance. At 5:30 AM, board a spider boat (approximately 150k IDR/person) to go dolphin watching (best time is 6-8 AM).

Morning: Snorkel 🤿 to see small fish or visit Banjar Hot Springs ♨️ (natural sulfur springs). Afternoon: Relax on the black sand beach or head to Gitgit Waterfall.

3. Some temples in Bali require sarongs (available for rent at the entrance).
4. Regardless of which option you choose, Indonesian roads are prone to traffic jams and uneven terrain! The road to the volcano is nearly 70% paved (similar to the highways in China), but it&#39;s still a bit bumpy. The remaining 30% is mountain climbing. Those prone to motion sickness should definitely take motion sickness medicine in advance!
