Walking to Hakone Gora Station, I was attracted by the queue of people at the restaurant. There was a tofu gozen written on the door. This is Tamura Gintei. It has been in business for more than 40 years. The most popular one is the tofu cuisine. Recommended is the tofu boiled rice dish. When you open the lid of the pot, you will be greeted by the aroma of piping hot soup! The sauce is a special sauce mixed with onions and eggs. The outer shell of the tofu is soft fried dough, with pork sandwiched in the middle. I ate the tofu in one bite. The soft and smooth texture was extremely satisfying. Mixed with the spicy sauce, I was able to eat a whole bowl of white rice. There is also a free cup of coffee after the meal, and the aftertaste of a quality tofu dish.
