It was written by Zhu Xi, a famous calligrapher in the Southern Song Dynasty. Looking at the Gushan stone carvings, from the Northern Song Dynasty to the Qing Dynasty and even the present, it has lasted for nearly a thousand years. In addition to its long history, the biggest attraction of Yongquan Temple is that the cliff stone carvings there are the most concentrated in Gushan, and the grade and quality are also the best. For example, the earliest inscription by Cai Xiang of the Northern Song Dynasty in the mountain, the "Drinking Water Rock" by Shi Yuanchang in the sixth year of Jiayou's reign in the Song Dynasty, and the Chinese character "Shou" by Zhu Xi under the Cu'ao Bridge in Lingyuan Cave are among the largest ancient cliff stone inscriptions in Fujian Province. Since the Song Dynasty, celebrities' handwritings have gathered here, with a total of 549 stone carvings. Among them, there are 89 sections carved in the Song Dynasty, 11 sections carved in the Yuan Dynasty, 31 sections carved in the Ming Dynasty, 168 sections carved in the Qing Dynasty, 96 sections carved in the Republic of China, 2 sections carved in the People's Republic of China, and 152 sections carved in doubt. Mainly distributed in Lingyuan Cave, Shimen, Bodhidharma Eighteen Scenic Spots, Jueding Peak, Baiyun Cave, etc. Lingyuan Cave has the highest concentration of cliff stone carvings in the whole mountain. There are more than 100 inscriptions in Zhen, Xing, Cao, Li and Zhuan scripts since the Song Dynasty. It is known as the "Southeast Forest of Steles". The great calligrapher Cai Xiang of the Northern Song Dynasty and others inscribed "Shao Quhua, Su Caiweng, Guo Shiji, Cai Junmo, Qingli Bingxu, Meng Qiu's eight-day tour of Lingyuan Cave", which is the earliest stone carving in the mountain. "Drinking Water Rock" was inscribed by Shi Yuanchang in the sixth year of Song Jiayou's reign; the second section of "Guoshi Rock" was inscribed by Song Caixiang and Qingli Jinshi Chen Xiang respectively. The word "Shou" is carved in regular script on the rock wall of the deep stream under the Cu'ao Bridge in Lingyuan Cave. It is 4.15 meters high and 3.05 meters wide.
