A Japanese restaurant that you must visit when traveling to Otaru. The environment is okay, but it is a bit crowded, but the food is delicious. The crab legs are super big, full of crab meat, and there are various seafood rice bowls.

Our goal was clear. We only had a small breakfast and went straight to Sankaku Market after leaving Otaru Station! Sankaku Market is right next to Otaru Station. You can see the sign on the right side of the JR gate. Takiba Shokudo is also very conspicuous. We queued for a while at the toilet door and then went in. The store is not big, but everyone seems to be eating happily. We ordered crab meat and sea urchin rice bowl, super seafood platter, grilled scallops and crab leg soup. We were super satisfied. It is cheaper than the Nijo Market in Sapporo, and many locals also come to eat.

Takiba Shokudo was packed with people as usual. We had to wait for a table before noon, but the tables were turned over very quickly and it wasn’t long before we were seated! Snow crab, scallops, and sea urchins were all delicious, and it was another satisfying meal! !
