Quaint traditional family run restaurant that specializes in Nagoya Unagi three ways. These fresh water eels are kept warm on the grill. The first way is to eat it on its own with rice and green onions, the second way is to eat it with chopped green onions and wasabi, and the third way is to add a little broth. Perfect experience of Nagoya flavor. A little more expensive than the shop next door, but if you don't like to queue for 30 minutes before eating, then come to this place.

This izakaya is amazing. Although there is no Chinese menu, I was able to order very smoothly with some simple gestures. The signature grilled crab shells are so delicious that they opened my eyes. I also highly recommend the Sukiyaki pot.

A very satisfying meal. Although it is not as spicy as the previous one, it is still very good. It is satisfying and enjoyable. The stomach will not feel uncomfortable. The ingredients are very fresh. If you eat too much Japanese food, it is recommended to come here to change the taste.

This is a local izakaya with a lively atmosphere. Many local white-collar workers come here to hang out after get off work. We also experienced this kind of life, ordering some of their more famous fried foods and toriyaki, eating while chatting with friends, it felt very comfortable and cozy.

The place is very hidden. We wandered around and finally found it. It is definitely worth it. I didn't have much interest in eel rice before coming here. No matter how delicious it is, it is just eel rice. But after eating it, I found that it is not the eel rice I imagined. The eel is grilled crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, and it is served with rice with sauce. The eel is eaten three times, and each time it tastes different! It completely subverts imagination! The boss doesn't speak English very well, but fortunately there is an English menu, and you can understand it with gestures!

I went to this restaurant with my friends at noon. It is a Japanese restaurant with many kinds of Japanese food for sale. The taste is very good and the price is very reasonable. I look forward to visiting again.

I saw the piglets of Yaba Pork Chop all around. I ate here before leaving Nagoya. I waited in line for 15 minutes before going in. I ordered the No.2 popular miso pork chop rice and miso radish. The radish is super strong ~ just right. The pork chop rice is a big portion ~ the fried pork chop is crispy and tasty. The sauce is even better. I highly recommend it ~ I feel very satisfied after eating it. For a popular restaurant, the price-performance ratio is good

Hitsumabushi at Horaiken Main Store near Atsuta Jingu Shrine in Nagoya is commonly known as "Three Ways to Eat Eel Rice". The explanation of the three ways to eat is as follows: The first way to eat eel with rice is to pour the eel rice in the large wooden bowl into a small bowl and eat it directly. The second way to eat is to add the so-called "medicinal flavor", which is the seaweed, mustard, chopped green onion, etc. prepared for the guests, and mix it on the eel rice to further enhance the taste experience. The third way to eat is to pour the prepared soup into the rice and make it into soup rice, which can taste the harmony that the first two methods do not have. So the correct way to eat it should be like this: First, divide the eel rice in the large bowl into four portions, the first portion is poured out and eaten directly, the second portion is eaten with medicinal flavor, and the third portion is eaten with soup rice. As for the last portion, save it for your favorite way to eat it again. It is said that the reason why the eel is cut into small pieces for the three ways to eat eel is to make it easier to divide. Of course, the original flavor is the most popular with me.
