This restaurant is a true gem in Kokura, boasting a two-star Michelin rating. The seasonal ingredients are expertly prepared, making each dish a delightful experience.

The sea urchin pasta is the reason to come. Quality uni, no fishy taste. Had it for a quick business lunch. Portion was a bit small for the price, but the flavor was spot-on.

The private dining experience was truly exceptional, featuring a multi-course meal that delicately showcased dishes such as the hikiage yuba and the egg custard.

The hamburg steak here is pretty good. Juicy and decently seasoned, just like a classic Western-style meal. A solid choice for a casual dinner.

Came here for lunch and the wait was pretty long, but the vibe inside is so cozy. Love the retro American decor, feels like stepping into another era. The cheeseburger was solid, juicy and the bun was toasted just right. Would come back, maybe just not at peak hours.

The baked curry was nice, but the real highlight for me was the cozy, retro interior. Felt like stepping back in time.

The toro was pretty good, creamy and rich. You can tell the seafood is fresh, being right next to the market. A decent spot for that.

The steamed zoni was a nice surprise. Savory chawanmushi with mochi and local mushrooms, really unique to this area.

The owner is very friendly. They pour the milk right at your table for the coffee, which is a nice detail. The coffee itself was pretty good. A decent spot for a quiet morning.

Sat at the counter, which was nice. But honestly, for the price of the set menu, I expected a bit more food on the plate. The chefs were fun to watch, though.

Popped in for a casual drink and loved the self-service tea station! The lady at the counter was super nice. It's perfect for a quick, relaxed stop.

Tried their king-sized grilled curry hamburger for the first time. It was super rich and hearty, just how I like it. A touch on the salty side, but still really satisfying. A solid find!

Nice chill spot for catching up with friends. The long, narrow layout actually makes it feel more private.

The baked curry was really good, and I liked how you could add extra cheese. The place itself has a nice, relaxed vibe with comfy booths. Good for when you just want a casual meal.

Stumbled upon this spot and the 200g Angus rib roast was the highlight. So juicy and tender, and the unlimited rice made it even better. Just a solid, satisfying meal.

Had a family dinner here, booked a private room. It was quiet and we could take our time. The room felt a bit dated, but the privacy was nice. Good for a relaxed meal.

The chef adjusts the rice temperature for each piece, which really makes a difference. The subtle citrus notes were a nice touch.

Cozy little spot with a sushi counter and tables. Even when it's packed, the vibe stays super chill.

The baked curry is the only reason I come. That cheese and egg crust on top gets so brown and crisp. The curry underneath is rich, not too spicy. It's a heavy dish, but that's the point.

The beef curry was pretty good, served sizzling hot. The mentaiko yaki special was also nice, but they ran out early.

The team here is always so nice. I asked if they could make my matcha latte less sweet, and they did it with a smile. It’s a small thing, but it makes a difference.
