Shockingly bad experience at Ole Sayang. It was my first time there and we went in the afternoon to have some cendol which would have been lovely on a hot day. Instead we were greeted with hostility and told that if we were only going to order dessert and not other dishes, we “would not be considered as customers”! The waiter even proceeded to collect the menus she had previously placed on the table in front of us. We were only “allowed” to order the cendol after we asked to see the manager of the restaurant. I have never been to a restaurant with worse service and would be ashamed to recommend this establishment to any visitors to Melaka or Malaysia.
