1. Coco Cabana: The romance of the iconic seahorse building

Coco Cabana is definitely a popular check-in spot in Miri. There is an iconic seahorse building here, and the viewing platform surrounded by reefs is very unique, but be careful not to go into the water, and there is no fine sand. It is worth mentioning that there is a two-story wooden building with exquisite carvings. The steps on the side allow you to easily go up to the second floor, blow the sea breeze, and watch the sea quietly. The sea water within 50 meters of the coast is slightly yellow, but it does not affect its charm. Moreover, it is free to open here, with steps, benches and stones for people to sit and rest, plus the unique seahorse building, taking pictures is super atmospheric!

2. Piasau Boat Club: A pleasant seaside time

Piasau Boat Club is a vibrant place. Not only can you go to the sea here, there is also a fine beach, and it is equipped with a restaurant and a coffee bar with plenty of seats. However, this is a private club, members can enter for free, but tourists need to buy tickets, RM10 for adults, half price for 12-17 years old, and free for those under 12 years old. There are many advantages here, including beaches, waves, and special activity areas. Don&#39;t worry if you bring your children here, there is a small playground for children to play, and the beach volleyball court can also let you sweat as much as you want. It is perfect to relax and enjoy the view here.

3. The Grand Old Lady: Climb high and enjoy the sunset

The Grand Old Lady is Miri&#39;s oil museum and a landmark building in Miri, located on Canada Hill. Here, you can climb high and have a wide view, overlooking the beautiful scenery of the city, the coastline and the sunset. The Hollywood-style city sign is a great background for taking photos. In my mind, this is the best place to watch the sunset. But please note that Grab cannot locate the viewing point when taking a taxi down the mountain. You can tell the driver to pick you up at the entrance of the museum.

Lutong Beach was recommended to me by the owner of a local restaurant (Old House is super delicious). The area here is not large, but it is free and open, and the sand on the beach is extremely fine. The waves gently hit the shore, and there are few boats in the distance, and the view is very pure. The only small drawback is that the waiting time for a taxi is long, which takes about 10-15 minutes.
