Lok Kyun Restaurant

Lok Kyun Restaurant is a fairly standard restaurant. There are many seafood dishes, and the sauces are very tasty. They also have desserts. It is also very down-to-earth.

Normally most people in Malaysia like meats, especially some Chicken, beef and mutton. There are little pork meals in the Sabah, except some Chinese restaurant.

I really like this seafood lo mein, which is just the right amount of dry and wet, and has the characteristics of both soup noodles and fried noodles!

I decisively ordered the recommended seafood noodles, which I still remember fondly.

I am surprised there is almost no review submitted for this place. In all fairness to the food they served, i must give them the long overdue credit. If you are making way up to Kundasang from Kota Kinabalu, you will pass by Tuaran town. You must stopover at Lok Kyun and try their signature Tuaran noodle. This place is smacked right in the heart of Tuaran town where there are just two main roads. It's easy to locate as long as you turn on either your google map or waze. Their Tuaran noodle is just out of the world and so so tangible. The other must try dish is their yam braised with meat. The shop closes at 3.30 pm so make sure you are early.
