Le Capitaine Restaurant Grand Baie

This is a very good French restaurant in the Grand Bay area of ​​Mauritius. The environment of the whole restaurant is very elegant, with a romantic atmosphere of tropical beaches. Every dish here is very delicate. Although the quantity is not large, each one is like a work of art. The taste is really good and it is worth everyone to taste.

The roast duck was delicious, served with pancakes, boiled chicken and fried squid, and some other dishes were also good. It should be noted that you are advised to make reservations in advance. In addition to these, their dim sum is also very good. Although there is not much selection because it was late when we went.

Visited this restaurant with colleagues. Having been to many restaurants in Grand Baie before, this was the standout meal. I had the masala snapper fillet served in a banana leaf - very tasty. Service was also very attentive

The environment is pretty good, with a sea view. I recommend the crab cooked in white wine, which tastes very delicious. The cucumber meatballs here are also good. There are still a lot of people in the restaurant. It is best to make an appointment in advance to avoid waiting in line for a long time.

The restaurant is on the shore of Port Louis, with a great view. If you make a reservation in advance, you can tell the waiter that you want an open-air seat by the shore. The seafood here is delicious and tastes pretty good. You can also stroll around Port Louis after eating.
