Indian Tadka

This is a Chinese restaurant located in Lotte Hotel Yangon. The ambience and service were impressive and the dishes I tried were well prepared, but a bit pricey. The experience was pleasant as well.

Kobe-ya is located at No 4 Pyi Thar Yar St, Yangon (Rangoon) 11082, Myanmar. I had beef, vegetarian dishes and drinks, and the taste was average. What was particularly outrageous was that a bowl of white rice cost two dollars. The rice was also average, and there was no difference from the rice in other restaurants in Myanmar. The environment was OK, with a relatively closed small single room, suitable for private conversations. The service was average, and it felt like the waiters needed more English training. By the way, the menu was in US dollars, so you should bring US dollars when you come to eat.
