Cafe Skansen

After playing around for a whole morning, I was so tired that I had not planned to eat here, but I really couldn't walk anymore. I thought it was a fast food restaurant at first, but it actually specializes in coffee. Fortunately, there was still something to eat, and the taste was pretty good. It might be because I was too hungry. In the end, the check price was acceptable, and the overall feeling was good.

Best meal of the trip! We stopped by Skansen Cafe after a day of touring Oslo. The experience was pleasant and the food was excellent! I ordered the smorflyndre (flounder) and my wife ordered the trout (salmon). My meals were excellent, flavorful and generous portions. The mashed potatoes on the side were nice and creamy. For dessert, we split the brownie and strawberries. I'm glad we split it because it was too much for one person. Our server was friendly and spoke fluent English, as do most Norwegians. The meal was fairly expensive, but I think it was totally worth it. I have no hesitation in giving this restaurant 5 stars.

A delicious restaurant in Oslo ~ Café Skansen This place is absolutely amazing! Not only is it beautiful, the service is also excellent, and the fish soup is delicious! [Environment] It's right next to Akershus Fortress, making it easy to find. It's within walking distance of City Hall, the Nobel Peace Center, and the National Museum! The restaurant has a lovely ambiance, with both outdoor and indoor seating. The restrooms are very clean. [Service] The service was excellent. When ordering, they offered recommendations, and you could even show the waiter pictures, and they instantly matched them. During the meal, they also proactively asked if you liked the food. [Taste] [Mussels, Salmon, and Seafood Soup] I ordered the fish soup I'd been craving. A serving cost 255 NOK and came with three pieces of bread. The bread was incredibly delicious, thickly sliced, and whether eaten plain or dipped in the fish soup, it was delicious! The fish soup was packed with dried ingredients: salmon, another fish (presumably cod), mussels, and shelled shrimp.
