空空CJThe restaurant itself serves traditional Korean cuisine and also provides vegetarian meals. We tried the lotus leaf rice set meal and the vegetarian Korean barbecue meal, both of which were very delicious. Even the elders who have been vegetarians for many years praised them. The price is about 200~300 Taiwan dollars after conversion, which is not too expensive. It is indeed a good choice for vegetarian friends in Busan. Note: Although the business hours are until 10 pm, there have been cases where it closes early at 9 pm.

There is nothing in the world that cannot be solved by a barbecue. If there is, then two barbecues will do. Life is busy, but you should also remember to reward yourself and eat all kinds of delicious teppanyaki barbecue. The taste is wonderful!
The restaurant is close to a subway station but in a quiet corner and easy to walk to. We tried the tasting menu which was the best choice as you can taste a wide variety of food. The food was great and the staff was nice and helpful. This restaurant is good for couples and groups. Highly recommended for a great dinner in Seoul!
Jungsik never makes mistakes🌟The Michelin two stars are well-deserved. I feel that the chef has been changed this year and the taste is very good👍Of course, it was not bad last year. Last year, I felt full after eating 235💲9 dishes [covering my face] This year's 195💲7 dishes are just right, and the wine pairing is really perfect. I have been thinking about this restaurant, and it really is🈚. The relaxed and unpretentious atmosphere, the appropriate and thoughtful service, and the smooth connection between each dish, Jungsik undoubtedly gave a satisfactory answer to the gourmets who came here for the reputation. I would like to add that the sommelier here is cute and professional. After learning about my taste, he picked a bottle of Grenash from Rhône for me. It suits my taste very well. If nothing unexpected happens, this is the best wine of the year. In the past, the recommendations of restaurant sommeliers have never been as popular as this time, which is a big plus! 🍷
Jungsik in Seoul, a Michelin 2-star restaurant with a globalized Korean flavor Jungsik can be said to be a star restaurant in the Korean cuisine industry. Chef Jungsik Yim is one of the most sought-after chefs today. He showed his culinary talent during his military service, and his superiors made him his personal chef. Later, his culinary experience in a series of Michelin-starred restaurants in the United States and Spain allowed him to start his own business in 2009 and open Jungsik Restaurant in Seoul. Although the Michelin Guide only included Seoul in November 2017, the famous Jungsik opened a restaurant of the same name in New York in 2011, and won its first Michelin star in New York in 2013, and was promoted to two stars in 2014. In the first edition of the Michelin Guide Seoul, Jungsik won one star, and in 2018 and 2019, the restaurant was promoted and maintained two stars. Of course, this restaurant is also Asia’s best 50. The restaurant in Seoul is near Sinsa-dong, Gangnam District. It is easy to find. Just type Jungsik on Google Maps and it will come out. There is a cafe and a restaurant on a large slope. The shop on the first floor facing the street is a cafe, and the restaurant is upstairs. Generally, reservations are made 2 weeks in advance, but it depends on the specific situation. I made a reservation 5 days in advance and it was successful. It may not be too crowded if it is not a weekend or dinner. The reservation method is to send an email through the official website, and the other party will feedback a confirmation email, which requires a credit card guarantee, which is about 30,000 won. Jungsik has two options for lunch: 4 dishes and 5 dishes. I chose 5 dishes, 95,000 won, but I chose Korean beef for one of the dishes, so I added 20,000 won. Most restaurants in Korea include taxes and service charges, and this restaurant is no exception. I didn't drink, so the price was about 600-700 RMB. This price is still very good value for money for a Michelin 2-star restaurant. It should be noted that the price of dinner will be 145,000 won, which is much more expensive than lunch, so if you are a stingy person like me, you should choose lunch. Finally, let's talk about the dishes. JUNGSIK is a new Korean restaurant, which is reorganized by integrating local ingredients with Western techniques. A lot of overseas work experience allows Lin Zhengzhi to present the taste of Korea in a globalized effect. I didn't ask how often the dishes are changed, so I won't introduce the dishes one by one. Everyone may eat different dishes. But as far as I am concerned, the entire dish of JUNGSIK is exquisite, but it didn't impress me. Only the taste of Korean beef is commendable. It may be that the restaurant has been open for too long and has entered a bottleneck period.
Jungsik Restaurant mainly serves new Korean cuisine, which is to present or reinterpret Korean ingredients and flavors with Western techniques. It has won two Michelin stars for several consecutive years and was selected as one of the 50 best restaurants in Asia. It can be said that there is nothing wrong with it except that it is expensive.
Jungsik is located at 11, Seolleung-ro 158-gil, Gangnam-gu, Seoul 06014, South Korea. The restaurant is run by Korean celebrity chef Jungsik Yim, who started learning cooking at the age of 22 in the military kitchen. After graduating from the best culinary school in the United States, CIA (The Culinary Institute of America) in 2006, he entered the catering industry and is a pioneer of new-style Korean cuisine. Jungsik restaurant specializes in new Korean-style cuisine, which uses Korean ingredients and flavors, presented or reinterpreted in a Western way. The restaurant in New York was awarded two Michelin stars in 2014, and has won two Michelin stars for several consecutive years. At that time, South Korea did not have a Michelin rating; however, the restaurant in Seoul has been selected as one of the 50 best restaurants in Asia since 2014, and has not missed out every year. I went to the Seoul main restaurant some time ago. It has been promoted from a 1-star restaurant in the Michelin Seoul section in 2017 to a 2-star restaurant for two consecutive years in 2018 and 2019. It is a model of the successful globalization of Korean food. I would like to briefly mention one of the interesting desserts, which is banana-shaped chocolate with banana puree as the filling. It is crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, refreshing and sweet. It really makes you enjoy the food without forgetting to have fun.
