The Bake House Kandy

Known as the best egg tarts in Kandy, the line for dine-in is always so long. Friends who don’t want to wait so long can directly line up for takeout and buy it in a few minutes! Egg tarts are 12 each. In order to take good pictures, we bought half a dozen haha. The filling is very smooth, the egg flavor is quite fragrant, and the sweetness is moderate. But its skin is different from ordinary egg tarts. It is a bit hard and a bit burnt. Because it was not hot when I ate it, I felt like I was eating a thicker version of Portuguese tarts. It should be more delicious if it is freshly baked! Croissants are 20, and it is said that there are 300 limited per day. I think its croissants are really delicious, with a strong butter flavor, crispy skin, and soft inside.

There is a cake shop at the door, where you can have a simple meal. I ordered seafood fried rice, which was a big portion with shrimps and squid. The main purpose of coming to Lanka was to eat enough.

The food here is pretty good, but! ! But! ! The tablecloths and chairs here are a bit dirty, it looks like a wedding has just been held, can you imagine? ? . It was 7:30 when we sat down and ordered coffee milkshakes, but the waiter told us to hurry up because the place closed at 8 o'clock! When we were inside, we saw 4 groups of people looking in but didn't come in, and 2 groups of people were simply not allowed in! Overall, the food is okay, and it's not expensive and quite affordable!

The last meal we had here before leaving, as usual, each person had a glass of fresh juice, and the staple food was fried seafood and fried rice. Now that I think about it, I really ate fried rice every day, with various flavors ~ haha, and mainly curry flavor!!

All kinds of cakes and desserts taste good and are relatively affordable.
