Turkey on the tip of the tongue | Specialty food | Restaurant guide It is not an exaggeration to call Turkish food my favorite European food. I was either eating or looking for food every day during this trip. Most of the restaurants I tried tasted good. Due to space limitations, this article only lists some very delicious or special foods — Numbers correspond to pictures — 2. Resto han It was almost 12 o'clock when I got off the plane and checked in on the first night. I was hungry. This restaurant on the food list was open late, so I chose this place for my first meal in Turkey. I ordered a grilled meat platter for two people, which made people hungry just by looking at it. They also gave me a dessert Baklava (translated as baklava, very sweet!) and a cup of Turkish tea (this tea does not need to be ordered separately, many restaurants give it as a gift). After eating everything, the feeling of fatigue from the journey disappeared — 3. Old ottoman Highly rated The main dish is a Turkish specialty, beef in a clay pot. The beef and vegetables are sealed and baked in a clay pot. When eating, a small hammer is used to knock off the mouth of the pot. It tastes a bit sweet and tastes like Chinese food (!! Personally, I think this dish is the most authentic and more delicious in Cappadocia). The roasted eggplant is very good! — 4. Galata Bridge Eminönü Wharf, there are several boat restaurants + snack shops, and many carts selling a special drink called Tursucusu: a red drink made of pickles and pickles, which sounds very dark, but tastes very sour and refreshing. I personally like it very much. Curious friends can try it. — 5. Zü beyir New town, it is said to be a century-old restaurant. The old man who takes orders is average, but the barbecue is extremely delicious. I ate two kebabs and still felt unsatisfied, but it was a pity that I had to rush. — Goreme: Uranos Sarikaya The group meal of the red line one-day tour is not in Goreme town, but the clay pot lamb is the best I have ever eaten, far exceeding expectations. — 6. Kapadokya Kebapzade This is recommended by the owner of the accommodation. I ordered a mixed platter. The lamb chops in it are particularly tender and tasty. Next time I have a chance, I will order a single plate. — 7. Topdeck cave Very popular, reservation required! But when I went there, I was alone and promised to finish the meal within 40 minutes. After arranging a seat for me, the food was served very quickly! The Meze platter was quite unique (cold), the lamb rice was also good, and there were seats to sit on the floor to eat — Fethiye: Fish Market (didn't eat) It is in Fethiye city, easy to find, a small seafood market surrounded by restaurants, customers negotiate prices and choose seafood, and after choosing, they can find any restaurant to process it for them, the general cost is 15 liras per person (serious solicitation) — 8. Cin Bal Near the ghost town, the area is very large but there are not many people, you can choose the meat from the freezer and grill it yourself — 9. Fethiye Pasa Kebap The rating is very high, the taste is good, and the Turkish flatbread Lahmacun is also a traditional snack worth trying
