[cp] It was so refreshing to drink a can of iced Coke when I got back to the hotel [laugh cry].... The Kumpoon I ate today was super delicious👍, worthy of so many people's recommendation! It ranks so high [color][color]! The store was full when it was about to close..

It is a very high-end Thai restaurant. Many Thais have eaten here. There are many photos of celebrities in the restaurant, but I don’t know any of them. The Thai food there is very delicate, and the pork neck is a bit spicy.

Everything else about this restaurant is good, the taste is OK, but the portions are too small. I ordered two main dishes, but both were just a little bit and not filling. The side dishes are good, but the rice noodles are too little, so it is only suitable for girls.

Whenever I crave Som Tum, I always end up somewhere with plastic stools and fans blasting in my face, but Kum Poon’s wooden house vibe sounds way more relaxing. I’m all for extra spicy with pla ra, but the air-con would definitely help me survive the heat!

Calling all spice lovers! 🚨 I snapped this photo during a dinner run at Kum Poon today, and the cozy, traditional wooden house interior immediately drew me in. If you love authentic Isan (Northeastern Thai) food but prefer dining in a comfortable, air-conditioned mall setting, this spot is such a lifesaver. 🏃♂️💨
The menu out front is packed with everything from fiery green papaya salads to perfectly grilled meats. I always end up ordering way too many dishes because the herbal, spicy aromas hitting you at the entrance are completely irresistible! 🤤
Let's settle it in the comments: Do you prefer your Som Tum aggressively spicy with fermented fish sauce (pla ra), or do you lean towards the sweet and nutty Thai style? What's your ultimate go-to Isan dish? 👇

I always get lost in Bangkok’s malls. Last time, I spent 3 hours at Siam Paragon and barely made it through half the stores. How do locals even decide where to shop?

Bangkok is one of those places that has something for everyone. I love the buzz. The art scene is great, the foot is duh! Obviously amazing, and there are so many different things you can do at any time of the day and any time of the year, you can never get bored in this big city.
I love exploring it when I can. There are great parks for tranquil walks, never ending malls, street food scene is so vibrant and exciting that it’s a whole vibe of its own.
I specially like the arts. Thailand is so underrated when it comes to art. I’ve seen amazing new artists both in fine arts (modern and tradition) and fashion industry (beauty and creation) .
Love this for the young Thais specially, having their voices heard and their exhibitions busy with art lovers is definitely a great boost and motivator.
