Samsen Villa Chiang Mai

This is at least the fifth time I went there. I finally got it in today at noon [tears] Sitting next to the bar, I could hear the chefs speaking Thai. There were so many orders. The taste was not worth waiting for half an hour, but the coconut ice cream was super delicious!! ​

Thai cuisine is world-famous. For dinner, we went to a restaurant called SAMSEN VILLA by the river. We had authentic coconut milk and local beer, along with a variety of delicious Thai dishes. In the end, we laughed and said that we were so full that we had to "walk in and hold on to the wall when we walked out."

The food is very good and delicious. It's perfect for a family meal. The quality is excellent. I like it. The food is very fresh. The beer is also delicious. I recommend it.

We stayed in Chiang Mai for four nights, eating at different restaurants by the river every day. Samsen Villa Restaurant is surrounded by a large green lawn with pleasant scenery. It offers a variety of Western and Thai food, and the most famous is ice-cold beer. As night fell, people began to come here one after another, and found a seat by the river. Beer was of course indispensable. The sausages we ordered were too salty and tasted average. The Thai food was okay.

Who knows! We found this amazing restaurant hidden in Chiang Mai's Old Town 🌿 After a day of exploring Chiang Mai with our kids, we didn't look for a place to eat until late in the evening. We searched Google Maps for the nearest restaurant and were surprised to find a Michelin-starred restaurant. It was right by the river, and we sat outside, enjoying the view while we ate. It was absolutely amazing! 🌙Must-Try List 🍲Red Curry with River Snail: This is a Michelin-starred dish, 240 THB. The snail is paired with an authentic Chiang Mai sauce, and the spices are incredibly rich and flavorful. A must-try! 🧆Deep Fried Sun-Dried Squid: This is also a Michelin-starred dish, 220 THB. The fried squid isn't particularly special, but the sauce is. 🍺Beer Wun: What's unique about their beer is that they put the beer glass in the freezer before pouring the beer into the glass, which keeps it extra cold! 🥘Tom Yum Goong: The sour and spicy hit the spot, and the prawns were as big as a palm, leaving a warm feeling in my stomach. 🍖Charcoal-grilled pork neck: The meat is crispy and tender with a hint of char, and paired with sticky rice, it's enough to fill two bowls. To be honest, the ingredients in Chiang Mai aren't particularly diverse or unique; the spices and sauces are the soul of Thai cuisine. 🥘 💰Price per person: 800 THB (including drinks) 📍Directions: Search for "samsen villa" on Google Maps ⏰Opening hours: 11:00 AM - 11:00 PM (reservations recommended!) After dinner, I strolled back to the old city. The moonlight shone on the brick walls, and I felt like I had swallowed all the warmth of Chiang Mai into my stomach. #ChiangmaiTravel
