Koh Sichang is a small island between Bangkok and Pattaya, known as the back garden of Bangkok people. The people on the island are quite simple, and there are actually quite a lot of restaurants, but they all look more local. We chose the one that looked the best, with a very convenient location, right in the middle of the main road of the island. The dishes were very good and the portions were quite large. Koh Sichang is located between Bangkok and Pattaya. It is very flexible to play. You can take a day trip or stay on the island for a night to experience it in depth. The island is not large and is very close to anywhere. The commercial development here is low. Although the hotel facilities are not so complete, it is in exchange for a quiet environment and low prices. It is a weekend resort loved by Thais. Foreign tourists rarely come and it is worth a visit.

Itinerary and transportation🚗

We chose to drive to Loi Pier by ourselves, starting from Samutprakarn, and it took about 2 hours on the road. After arriving at the pier, you can see the window counter selling boat tickets. The round-trip ticket price is 60 baht per person, and the return ticket can be purchased at the original disembarkation pier. However, please note that the last boat is at 5 pm. Friends who plan a day trip must plan their time well. It takes about 45 minutes to get to the island. Special reminder: do not get off the boat at the first dock, but get off at the second dock.

Transportation on the island🛵

The island transportation mainly relies on tutu cars and motorcycles. There are many chartered car services after leaving the pier. The driver will take out pictures for you to choose the attractions you want to go. We chartered a tutu car and went to 5 attractions for 500 baht. Unfortunately, we only saw the sunset on the return boat. If we could enjoy it by the reef on the island, the scenery would definitely be beautiful🌅

For lunch, I strongly recommend the restaurant &quot;ป้าหน่อย ริมทางทะเลเผา&quot;. But be careful, try to go on time before or during mealtime, otherwise the popular seafood will be easily sold out.

Koh Sichang has a tropical monsoon climate, with an average annual temperature between 25 and 32℃, making it suitable for travel in all seasons.
