In Maya Hotel, we had buffet breakfast every day. There were many kinds of food. The fish ball soup was delicious, the fish balls were very springy, and the toast bread was very good. We had a full meal every morning.

This is still very good, the environment is definitely high-level, because it is inside the hotel, so the overall supporting facilities are so diverse, there is a buffet here, it is convenient and simple to eat...

MAYA is one of the restaurants in Sofitel Hotel and the last restaurant that needs to be checked in this time. The restaurant claims to serve breakfast, lunch and dinner all day. As a restaurant selected by Gourmet Forest, the overall environment and hardware of the restaurant are good, and the service is also in place. We chose to eat at lunch time. Lunch only provides a semi-self-service set lunch for one person. There are seven choices of staple food, and salad, soup, dessert, and fruit are self-service. There are two flavors of hot soup, Chinese and Western. The Western style is tomato cream soup, which tastes very ordinary. The Chinese soup is a bit like dark cuisine, taro stewed fish cubes, and the soup is still cold, which is a very strange combination. It is difficult to accept cold soup... The staple food introduced by the waiter was directly translated from Thai, so I ordered it with the mentality of giving it a try. As a result, a dish of rice with the feel of a Hong Kong-style tea restaurant came up. It turned out to be stir-fried seafood with white rice. The seafood was very stale, and the shrimps were all snowy and tasteless. It was basically blanched with onions and sauce. The white rice was loose and not hot, obviously heated in a microwave. Thai fried kway teow, I chose this main dish simply because it is not easy to make mistakes. The kway teow is indeed fried quite normally, but unfortunately the shrimp is not fresh and has no taste at all. The dessert can be said to be a complete failure. It is hard to accept that a dessert in a five-star hotel can be so bad~ Finally, I still have to complain about the service of the staff. First of all, we went to the restaurant for dinner at 2 pm. From understanding the menu to placing an order, and serving the dishes, no waiter reminded us that the restaurant’s lunch end time is 3 pm. It was not until 20 minutes before the closing time that they came to tell us that they were about to close and asked us to take the food as soon as possible. Secondly, we asked at the beginning if we could order lunch separately, and they kept telling us very confidently that it was not possible. Later, we felt that the portion was not enough and wanted to add another main dish, but they told us that we could order the main dish separately, which felt a bit fooling us to order a set meal. I didn’t expect that the two restaurants of an international five-star hotel would be so disappointing.

Recommend tuna raisin, pumpkin soup, salad, the food is still very delicious, there is an outdoor dining area, the environment and scenery are great.
