Potjawan’s Restaurants

This seafood restaurant is very good. The lobsters are quite fresh, but they are not big. The garlic lobster tastes good, and the grilled prawns are also good. The price is relatively cheap in Krabi.

After playing in the water at Ao Nang Beach, it is easy to see the sign of this restaurant. It is very large and popular. It is considered a popular restaurant in Ao Nang. It mainly serves local seafood. The price is reasonable.

A highly rated restaurant near the hotel, I chose to eat there before changing hotels. Not many people at 12 o'clock. No mantis shrimp, but crab, same as usual, one serving of curry crab, tasted good, very strong. Grilled squid, a little fishy, ​​dipped in sauce is OK. Crab fried rice is delicious, finished in seconds... Pineapple fried rice has a lot of ingredients, a full portion, a little sweet, not a favorite... Clams are not bad, although not a lot, but each one has meat, the meat is very full. A full table of dishes, the bill is not expensive, very cost-effective!

I had two dinners at Potjawan during my visit to Krabi. The seafood in this restaurant is all alive. After you place an order, the waiter will ask you to come over to see the weight. They will also try to empty the water in the bag. However, there are many flies in the restaurant. It is tiring to drive away flies while eating. Recommended dishes: large mantis shrimp (the big ones are delicious, and the difference between the small ones is only 300 baht per kilogram), lobster, seafood fried rice, beef fried noodles, spicy fried clams, and pineapple rice. The menu in the restaurant has Chinese names of dishes, so ordering is stress-free. The waiter can speak Chinese, but one little sister couldn't figure out the big and small mantis shrimps when ordering, which was a headache. It took a long time to communicate.

It's a pretty good shop. I think the food here is very suitable for Chinese people. The taste is moderate, a little lighter than normal Thai food, but still has local characteristics. My favorite is their fried noodles, which tastes Chinese.

Dongyin Gong Tang is delicious. I was recommended by a local and it's right by the sea. The price depends on what you eat; seafood is more expensive. Local food tastes better. It's across the road from the sea and I'll go there again next time.

This small restaurant is right opposite Ao Nang Beach. The food there is not exquisite nor is it a grand feast, but it is very comfortable. Especially their fried rice, which made me very satisfied with its rich flavor. Their roasted chicken or seafood is also delicious.
