1. Don Muang Railway Station to Phitsanulok 12go to buy train tickets. The slow train takes about 6 hours. The fast train with air conditioning takes about 4 hours. Walked to Si Rayana Mahathat Temple (big temple) (Chinese call it Success Buddha), Nan Phaya Temple, The Phuttha Chinnarat National Museum Day2 Take Grab from Phitsanulok to Phetchabun Khao Kho (note that there is no Grab taxi in this place. I personally recommend finding a chartered car or driving in advance, otherwise it will be very troublesome).
3. Hotel recommendation: Phu pha Sai Resort is located halfway up the mountain. The view is great. The rooms have large French windows and balconies to enjoy the view.
4. Restaurant recommendation: Krua Khao Khoa ma. The food is good and cheap. The owner can speak Chinese. You must buy taro with tamarind sauce. It is delicious.
5. In the afternoon, we went to Wat Phra That Pha Sorn Kaew, the Five-Headed Buddha Temple. It can only be described as shocking. It is very photogenic. We found a local brother to explain the history and development of the temple to us. It is a mysterious place. It is worth your visit.
