Small place but very friendly
We were staying at the Ohana Resort just a little further down the road and wanted to rent a family scooter. We were advised to speak to the owners of the Thai-German restaurant because their next door neighbour lets out scooters, but don&#39;&#39;t speak any English. They were happy to help us throughout the process. Btw - restaurant serves good German food if you need an alternative to Thai. :-)

Wonderful Northeastern Food!
Very clean place. You can enjoy spicy food without having to be worried about diarrhea. Spicy pork soup is a must (Moo tom sap).

Good environment, live band, great service, good food, many types of beer, delicious steak and pizza! But there are not many parking spaces! The average consumption per person is about 200 yuan, which is pretty good. I will come again!

Australian Visitors
With two Australian friends visiting, we chose Cher Cher to showcase some of the best Thai food Rayong has to offer.

This smart up-market Thai restaurant&#39;&#39;s menu features many of the traditional dishes from Esan, the north eastern provinces of Thailand with its own distinctive cuisine.

We had crispy fried noodles with prawns, crispy pork belly, deep fried chicken wings, stir fried mixed vegetables in oyster sauce, and a Thai hot pot of pork meat and pork liver with vegetables.

Our waitress was particularly attentive, especially with the hot pot, a small clay pot on a charcoal brazier, and showed our Australian guests how to bring the stock to a boil before adding the meat and vegetables.

The four of us had a magnificent dinner for a modest Baht 700.

Great food-Good taste
My second time visiting here. It was extremely impressed with wonderful dining experiences. I and friends ordered various dishes(Noodle w/crab meat curry, Deep fried German pork hocks,Salad shrimp dumpling with sesame dressing and Mushrrom creamy soup in bread bowl).All dishes were well-prepared and garnished plated with a good tastes and don&rsquo;t forget ordering a signature drink( orange-passion juice ). Recommend this place to everyone who visit Rayong.

Take it off the Menu
I think it is disappointing when you study a restaurant menu and set you heart on something, only to be told it is not available. Of course, most times we accept that as we understand the availability and seasonality of ingredients.

Still the Best
My Swiss next door neighbour rang and said he was hungry and felt like noodles for lunch. I suggested Baan Saphan Mai, which surprisingly he had never heard about, even though he has lived in Rayong for 10 or more years.

Baan Saphan Mai is a Rayong institution, having been run by the same family for several generations. It is located in an old traditional Thai teak wood house in Old Rayong.

My friend agreed the noodles were five star, so much so that he ordered a second bowl.

I contented myself with just one.

With two cans of Leo Beer the bill was a very cheap Baht 170.
