🌅Mangerie in Bebek 
One of Istanbul’s most iconic brunch spots overlooking the Bosphorus. It has been a local favorite for years, and the terrace view is the real highlight. Sitting there watching ferries pass by while having breakfast felt incredibly relaxing. The food was good, but not something that blew me away. Still, the atmosphere and the view made it totally worth it. This is definitely a place you go for the scenery and the vibe.

🍝Pim Karaköy 
Located in the trendy Karaköy neighborhood, it feels very modern and lively. The atmosphere was fun without being too crowded, making it a great spot to take a break after walking around Galata Tower and the waterfront. The food was delicious and the overall vibe felt very local, like somewhere people in Istanbul actually hang out.

🍳Cuma 
A cozy restaurant hidden in Istanbul’s charming Çukurcuma neighborhood, surrounded by antique shops and art galleries. It serves modern Mediterranean-Turkish food made with seasonal and organic ingredients and has received a Michelin Bib Gourmand for its good quality and reasonable prices.

The restaurant focuses on seasonal ingredients and simple but well-executed dishes. Everything we ordered was flavorful and comforting without being too complicated. It’s one of those places where every dish just feels right, and you can tell they really care about what they serve.

Afternoon tea at Çırağan Palace Kempinski is a must. The palace itself used to be an Ottoman imperial palace in the 19th century before becoming a luxury hotel. Sitting by the Bosphorus with tea and desserts felt like stepping into another era. The food was nice, but honestly the view was what made the whole experience unforgettable.

The famous restaurant by Salt Bae, Nusret Gökçe. Watching the theatrical meat presentation and his iconic salt sprinkling was part of the experience. Whether you’re a big steak lover or not, it’s one of those places you go for the fun and the atmosphere as much as the food. Their Lokum beef is still one of the most popular dishes there.

☕️Walter’s Coffee Roastery in Kadıköy. Inspired by Breaking Bad, the café is designed like a chemistry lab with beakers and science-themed decorations everywhere. It was such a fun and unique place to visit, especially if you’re a fan of the show. The coffee was great and the concept made it really memorable.

One of the most famous dessert shops in Istanbul with a long history dating back to the Ottoman era. They are especially known for Turkish delights, baklava, and all kinds of traditional sweets. Honestly, the desserts are very sweet, like really sweet, but I still wanted to try them because I was curious about what authentic Turkish desserts actually taste like. It’s definitely an experience, and a must-try if you want to understand local flavors.

Licated near Galata tower. It is one of the best breakfast spots to try in Istanbul. The traditional Turkish breakfast is generous and perfect for sharing, with a variety of cheeses, olives, homemade jams, bread and local dishes. What impressed me most was the tea or coffee served in beautiful vintage-style cups. The delicate patterns made the whole breakfast feel even more charming and memorable. With its cozy atmosphere and location just a short walk from Galata Tower, it is a lovely place to start your day before exploring the neighborhood.
