It's truly rare to find a destination like Abu Dhabi, which combines visa-free travel (so you can go on a whim), a niche destination (so crowded and film-worthy), a wealth of experiences (so much to see and do, exotic, modern, and with a variety of amusement parks), and super safe (no thieves or robberies), perfect for family trips, and incredibly friendly to Chinese people! With all these perks, and best of all, the budget is still affordable, truly a city endorsed by the "Fairy Sister." Of course, after a ten-hour flight, we definitely decided to explore neighboring Dubai together. Here's our family's 7-day itinerary, a budget-friendly getaway costing 15,000 RMB per person. Sharing this with friends who don't want to travel on a budget, are traveling with kids, are honeymooning with their husbands, or are couples leaving their kids behind for a honeymoon. It includes everything you need to know about food, clothing, housing, and transportation! It's a bit long, so I'll save it for later. 1. First, let's talk about the best time to go, weather, and travel options: Although we decided to go on a whim, we went in autumn and winter. Yes, Abu Dhabi is only in the 20s in the winter! Normally, it's 40 degrees! It's quite sunny outdoors, but the local activities are mostly indoors. Taxis are available everywhere, and hailing one on site is even cheaper than using an app! To reach Abu Dhabi and Dubai, you can fly directly from Shanghai and Beijing with Emirates. Their planes are huge, with two decks, allowing you to lie flat and even have private rooms! 2. Itinerary and Budget Abu Dhabi and Dubai are truly perfect for a relaxing vacation! They're also easy to bring with children, but I recommend children aged 5 and over! After all, the flight is quite long, and the drive from Abu Dhabi to Dubai is a three-hour drive. Abu Dhabi is truly more fun; you can spend three days there, while Dubai only takes two! The average cost of the trip is similar to that of Shanghai and Beijing, but there's no upper limit. The luxurious hotels and activities there are truly unimaginably extravagant! There are hotels starting at $40,000 per night, and there are also club activities with admission costing $80,000. Of course, this wasn't included in my itinerary. Our average cost was $15,000 per person, which is considered a budget-friendly trip. 🚗🚗🚗 Itinerary Day 1: Sheikh Zayed Mosque Day 2: Abu Dhabi Presidential Palace → AlFarah restaurant → Louvre Abu Dhabi → St. Regis Saadiyat Island Resort, Abu Dhabi Day 3: Warner Bros. World Abu Dhabi → Ferrari World Abu Dhabi → teamLab Phenomenon Abu Dhabi → SeaWorld Abu Dhabi → Bur Dubai Abra Marina → Al Fahidi Historic District → Al Khayma Heritage Restaurant & Cafe Day 4: Skydive Dubai → Museum of the Future → Arabian Tea House Restaurant Day 5: Dubai Mall → JW Marriott Dubai Marriott Marquis Hotel Day 6: Dubai International Airport - 👔👗Outfit Be sure to buy a white robe and accessories to instantly transform into an Arabian princess. Everything else is a holiday-inspired look, so consider a variety of styles! - 🙋Local Culture We went sandboarding with a local guy. We chatted a lot along the way, asking him about the locals having four wives and the local salary system. I also discovered the cultural and educational approach to children there. Nowadays, any major company like Huawei can arrange decent accommodations there. If you're interested, I'll publish a separate episode on "Ga Retail Investor" content. - 🍀Okay, the point of traveling is to see the world, and the point of raising children is to ensure mom doesn't tire! Hahaha, I find both Abu Dhabi and Dubai very satisfying. - 💗I hope this guide is helpful. 🙋Feel free to share in the comments. ➕Follow me for more unique travel tips for taking your kids out and about.
