Blue Duck Tavern

[Service] Ctrip can book seats, eliminating the hassle of making phone calls. [Taste] The dishes are good, the beef ribs are delicious, the meat is chewy, the seafood inside is also very good, and the senbei is very big.

A night out in DC before retiring. Great cocktails and service. Shared the turkey, avocado club and some delicious hand cut fries. Back for breakfast. Everything is fresh and locally sourced. Delicious!

Most hotel restaurants are usually top notch, almost like a necessary evil for the hotel to tick on some questionnaire. The Blue Duck Tavern is the opposite: if you eat at the restaurant, can you tell the hotel it is located in? We had a late birthday celebration at the Blue Duck Tavern. The restaurant is also open for breakfast and lunch, which is rather unusual for a high-end restaurant. The food was good, although only a few bites were truly delicious. The menu seeks to highlight the restaurant's support for the farm-to-table movement. Most of the dishes can be classified as American. Service throughout the establishment was excellent and met our requirements. The decor is nice, although I would not find it cozy nor upscale. Perhaps modern. The seating could be more comfortable during the long dinner, as the chairs and benches are wooden. The restaurant also offers outdoor seating, but given the August heat and humidity, we chose to stay indoors.

Simply put, from start to finish. The general location suits myself well. The atmosphere is perfect for any occasion. They have glass booths designed for private conversation and quiet, and also allow you to see the background. The food was impeccable. All of our guests loved the plates, especially the sides. Will be a regular.

Very good taste, good cooking but judging by the other restaurants/hotel chains in the Hyatt, not in the top 5. I think the quantity is not great compared to other good places to eat and we felt a bit unattended. Probably because it was a busy season but you expect everything to be perfect in a place like this. Prices are certainly on the higher end of the scale but that's ok.
