Base don some reviews I told a bike ride there this evening. The place is on the outskirts and stands along in a very quiet road which in itself is fine, bear in mind however that it isn't in walking distance really unless you are on that specifies side of the Palace wall.. Initially good greetings, lovely vibe, private rooms to eat, outside area or air conditioned inside. Setting wise no issues at all... until you sit down and are bombarded by some abominable Karaoke sounds..I found myself listening to a bloke who sounded like he had just been strangled. .. perhaps he should have been. Menue - great if you dance a pasta Bolognese, Pork, a Burger,, Mutton, in fact anything Western but hey, where is the Veggie and where is the Burmese? - not forgetting Chinese! I asked the waiter who was extremely gentle and kind aside from the occasional gobbing on the floor, that vile brown liquid that comes from the beetle nut tobacco/alcohol. mixed in the leaf. .... I thought the place is Vegetarian I told him..yes we have meat but you can have vegetables if you want! After much negotiation they offered to push the boat out (just as well as the monsoon rains began to chuck down so I was stuck there anyway!) - and make me a plate of noodles with Vegetable. I waited and waited, Finally so hungry I ate what was placed in front of me. It was like a student dish that one might have thrown together back at the dormitory kitchen or back at the student apartment. To be fair my waiter when I requested some Cashews to add flavour and crunch did do so and tried his best to accommodate. And there you have it. In all then contrary to popular believe there are NO Vegetarian restaurants in the city aside from that awful Indian gaff I samples last night. Apparently to be fair this place once WAS but changed hands.. Conclusion a decent enough place to sit so long as thou don't mind Karaoke as background music, are partial to a burger os a Bolognese, maybe Chinese, but are NOT looking for Vegetari
