Zhujiajiao Ancient Town

Zhujiajiao Ancient Town Scenic Area was listed as one of Shanghai's four famous historical and cultural towns in 1991. The town itself is simple and elegant. The small Caogang River divides the town into the northern and southern sections, and residential houses of the Ming and Qing Dynasties line up along the water canal. The town has been called the “Venice of Shanghai.” In recent years, cafes, bars, book shops, postcard shops, and other hipster shops have opened, attracting many musicians, travelers, and young artists to the site.

Kezhi Garden

Located in Zhujiajiao Ancient Town in Shanghai's Qingpu District, Kezhi Garden was built in 1912. The architecture and features are a combination of Western and Chinese garden styles. The garden contains a number of paths and structures making it suitable for walking and photography. The small buildings and courtyards are tranquil and offer a welcome respite from the hectic pace in central Shanghai.

Shing Wong Temple

Shing Wong Temple is a Taoist temple located in western Shanghai's Zhujiajiao Ancient Town. The temple serves as the so-called “city god temple,” meaning it is the principle temple in the Zhujiajiao area. Constructed according to the Jiangnan style, there is an elegance on display. The Xiaoqu River flows nearby and the temple is guarded by a pair of stone lions. Plum and willow trees are planted throughout the courtyards. Zhujiajiao Post Office

Zhujiajiao Post Office was originally built in 1903 and was one of the major postal centers in Shanghai. Today it is preserved as an example of a Qing Dynasty Post Office. Dadian Lake

Dadian Lake is located at the tip of North City, Zhujiajiao Town. The lake is round, like a big pond. The water surface is nearly 800 mu, the bottom of the lake is flat, and the water quality is good. The nine ports along the lake are all set up with fish and neon, and the output is among the best. This place is an important transportation and shipping route. Ships from Zhujiajiao Town to Kunshan, Suzhou and other places pass through the lake.

Yuanjin Buddhist Temple

Yuanjin Buddhist Temple is located in far western Shanghai's Zhujiajiao Ancient Town. Dating to the Yuan Dynasty, the temple as first built around 1341. The hall contains many important cultural relics in addition to the well-known Qinghua Pavilion, located inside the temple grounds. The pavilion's height makes it visible from many parts of Zhujiajiao, lending a sense of importance and focus. Zhuxi Park

Shanghai Zhuxi Garden is located in the east of Zhujiajiao Town, Qingpu County, adjacent to Huqingping Highway in the south, Shengde Plastic Factory in the north, and the factory road in the west. At the eastern end of Zhujiajiao Town, Qingpu, which enjoys the reputation of "Venice of the East", there is a unique garden Zhuxi Garden with classical art style. This Zhuxi Garden covers an area of more than 50 acres and has a water surface area. The trees are shady, the environment is quiet, the lake is clear and the scenery is beautiful. Golden Stone Pavilion, Tsinghua Stone Pavilion, Stone Arch Bridge, Stone Embankment, Jiuqu Bridge, Jiulong Fountain, Rockery, Promenade and other scenic spots are scattered and complement each other.
