Longfeng Wetland

Longfeng Wetland is a major nature reserve in Daqing, perfectly captured by the poetic lines: "White egrets fly over vast paddy fields, and lush grass covers the islet." It is home to over 60,000 water birds. Every spring, during the migratory season, Longfeng Wetland is at its most beautiful. Various birds make their home here: swans swim elegantly in the river, mandarin ducks keep them company, white storks cautiously pace the shore in search of food, and the sky becomes the domain of red-billed gulls and silver gulls. Longfeng Wetland is vibrant and lush with greenery. The best spot for bird photography is on the bridge, which allows you to walk out over the lake and enjoy close-up views of the birds on the water. It is worth noting that the formation of Longfeng Wetland is quite fascinating. It was once a muddy, low-lying swamp with no water source and no signs of life. However, a flood brought water that accumulated here, creating the beautiful wetland we see today. Longfeng Wetland is a green paradise in the heart of Daqing. A stroll here to take in the beautiful scenery is a refreshing and delightful experience.Daqing · 18.5km from Anda

This is a place where grass eagles fly, wild ducks and pheasants breed. Lotus flowers in summer and ice and snow in winter make you forget your troubled thoughts. There are also delicacies: grilled large skewers, goose eggs, lamb legs and mutton chops Picking daylilies and mushrooms in spring

Good location, parking lot, free admission, closed on Mondays. A seriously underestimated museum with a very attractive theme. It has the largest and most complete mammoths in the country, two of which are 90% complete, which are really the treasures of the museum. There are relatively complete hyenas, as well as various cattle and other animal fossils. Very suitable for parents and children, students to learn, and tourists to visit and appreciate.

A quick tour of Harbin Ice and Snow World revealed ice slides, a Ferris wheel, and countless ice sculptures whose names I can't recall—truly spectacular. But after exploring it thoroughly, I realized that what truly captivated me wasn't just the ice, but the subtle warmth hidden within the chilly winds. There were many places to warm up.

The Daqing Petroleum Museum, with its unique exterior design, is known as the "Oil Cube." Its exterior walls, decorated with PC panels, resemble an intricate network of oil and gas pipelines, symbolizing the "underground oil-bearing rock formations." Its distinctive shape has made it a landmark building in Daqing, possessing strong visual appeal. The science education section uses various display methods, such as dynamic art installations, geological models, and 4D films, to vividly present the formation and extraction process of petroleum, as well as its wide applications in daily life, making it suitable for teenagers and the general public to learn about petroleum science. The "Red Culture and Spirit Inheritance" section recreates historical scenes and displays artifacts and video materials from the Daqing Oilfield campaign, showcasing the arduous pioneering journey of the campaign and conveying the Daqing spirit and the "Iron Man Spirit" of "patriotism, entrepreneurship, pragmatism, and dedication." It has strong educational significance and appeal.

It's amazing to be able to see so close the animals but still be in their environment. Make sure you bring cash also if you want to feed them after the tour is finished. You can give them food while you are in the car and pay online, and is also an option after where is required cash. We recommend this place if you are in Harbin🙂

After visiting the Tiger Park, we took a taxi to Sun Island and then prepared to take the cable car back to our hotel across the river. Since it was a weekday, there weren't many tourists, and we got on without queuing. When the cable car reached its highest point, the panoramic view of Sun Island, the Songhua River, and the city was breathtaking. We even saw a flock of seagulls! A trip to Harbin definitely includes taking the cross-river cable car at least once.

It's a bit far from downtown Changchun, about an hour's drive away. The automatic parking system at the entrance was a first for me, and it was free! There were even volunteers to show you how to use it – so thoughtful! The place is incredibly large; walking is impossible. A bus ride around it takes over 40 minutes. The most beautiful area is near the dam, not far from the entrance!
