The Promenade des Anglais runs along the bay and is a key pedestrian area for enjoying the sea view. On one side of the promenade is the open sea, while the other side is lined with hotels, residences, restaurants, and public spaces, showcasing the unique atmosphere of a coastal city. Its coastline is primarily characterized by pebble beaches, which differ from many sandy beaches, and the waves create a distinct sound as they crash against the pebbles.Nice · 9.2km from Antibes

It was formed during the Middle Ages and features a compact street layout, retaining a large number of traditional buildings in the Italian style, which showcases the historical background of Nice as a long-standing intersection of French and Italian cultures. The Palais des Festivals (Palais des Festivals de Cannes) was built in 1982 and is an important meeting place for the Cannes Film Festival. The Palais des Festivals has a capacity of 30,000 people, excellent sound facilities, and besides being the official venue of the festival, it also contains many business conference halls. It is said that the carpet on the steps of the Palais des Festivals is red only when there is an event, and blue at other times. So if you come across a festival, don't forget to take pictures on the steps covered with red carpets to experience the taste of being a star. Visitors still have a better chance of seeing a red carpet than a blue one, as the Palais des Festivals is not idle for most of the year. Every year, there is the Acacia Festival in February, the International Film Festival in May, and the Music Festival and Fireworks Festival in July. In addition, there are fixed festivals such as the International Boat Festival, the International Music and Record Festival, the Mimosa Festival, and the Dance Festival. Under such a dense schedule, if you want to use the Palais des Festivals, you need to book two years in advance.Cannes · 9.2km from Antibes

Cannes Walk of Fame is a must-visit attraction in Cannes, located next to the Palace of Festivals and Congresses of Cannes. You can see handprints of over 300 stars on the sidewalk here, which draws many film enthusiasts and tourists. There are far fewer handprints in Cannes than on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in the United States, but you can find director Wong Kar-wai's handprint on the Cannes Walk of Fame, right at the entrance of the Cannes convention center. It features the three English letters WKW, which are the initials of Wong Kar-wai's name in Cantonese pinyin.Cannes · 9.2km from Antibes

Angel Bay—the very name evokes endless daydreams. And after visiting, you'll find it truly lives up to its name. The sand on the beach is fine and soft, and the water is crystal clear, making it an excellent choice for strolling or swimming. The beachfront facilities are also excellent, with a variety of restaurants and leisure amenities, allowing you to enjoy the natural beauty while fulfilling all your daily needs.

Highly recommend tourists to discover the old quartier of Cannes which is less commercialised than the area near train station. Recommend anyone interested in history to visit Musee des explorations du monde, which is nestled within the ancient castle overlooking the old quartier. Although being a small museum, the collection of historical pieces around the world including Ancient Egypt, Greece and Africa is astonishing. The great number of artwork showing ancient Cannes and South of France are also of high historical values. The museum is also free to students.

As the name suggests, it's an area with an old-fashioned feel. There are a lot of delicious restaurants. In particular, there were a lot of famous gelato shops, so people were waiting in line. ☺️

It happened to be winter when I went there, so there were almost no people on the beach. The sea water was not as blue as in summer, but the light blue hue was also unique. Although it is also close to the Mediterranean Sea, the sea breeze is much milder than that in Tel Aviv and Alexandria, Egypt, and the climate is mild and pleasant. No wonder Matisse went to Nice for recuperation in winter. This time there was a strike, and the city's transportation was on strike. I just walked around the old town and the beach, strolled on the English Promenade, and picked up stones on the beach. I could spend a whole day there.

Cannes is also a small city that is very suitable for tourism. It is also one of the good places to hold film festivals. Every gathering of the film festival is very popular, and there are quite a lot of film projects here.

When talking about Cannes, the first thing that comes to mind is the red carpet and the movie palace. However, the actual movie red carpet palace is not very big. It looks particularly big every year when there are no cameras and tourists! In Cannes without a film festival, the red carpet is a market, a place for people to communicate!

Castle Hill is open to the public free of charge and is open for sightseeing and picnicking. The observation deck overlooks the Bay of Angels, the Promenade des Anglais and the old town. The tower on top was the supply fortress of the castle in the 16th century and is now used as the castle's radio room. There is also a castle museum to visit, as well as an 18th-century artificial waterfall.

The Croisette in Cannes is a famous seaside street. It feels romantic to walk, run or do nothing here. Because there are usually bars across the street, it feels very relaxing.
