Nagarkot is the edge of the Kathmandu Valley, more than 2,100 meters above sea level, known as "the viewing platform of the Himalayas". When the weather is clear and the visibility is high, you can overlook the Himalayas on the opposite side. From Mount Everest on the east side to the Annapurna Mountains on the west side, the lined up snow-capped mountains are quite impressive. The hotel gathering place on the top of the mountain is a good place for viewing the scenery. It takes ten minutes to walk north from the bus station in Nagarkot to the hotel gathering place on the top of the mountain. There is also a temple on the top of the mountain, and you can see some simple carvings. This hill is where you can see the snow-capped mountains, and most hotels here have a viewing platform with a good view, and some can even watch the sunrise through the window in the room.Nepal · Nagarkot

Thamel is the core district where tourists gather in Kathmandu, serving as a base for travelers from all over the world. Hotels, restaurants, bookstores, and currency exchange shops are densely packed along the narrow alleys, earning it the nickname Little Hong Kong of Kathmandu due to its bustling trade. The area is a maze of crisscrossing alleys and dense shops, best explored on foot, making it perfect for leisurely shopping during the day. After dark, the area transforms. Neon signs light up, and music drifts from bars and rooftop restaurants. Dining on a rooftop terrace offers a view of the lively nightlife below.Kathmandu · 12.2km from Bhaktapur

Here you can see the traditional Nepalese pottery craftsmanship, and you can also buy your favorite pottery. It is said that 70% of the pottery in Nepal comes from here, and it is also a favorite place for photography enthusiasts. The historical changes of the square It is said that the square used to have a very large scale. Transactions were carried out here every day, and the scene was produced on site. The scene was quite spectacular. In 1646, a wealthy potter donated money to build the Jeth Ganesh Temple in the center of the square, reflecting the long history of pottery activities around the square. Even today, the priests in the temple are still generated from the potter's caste. But over time, pottery has been gradually eliminated by the lives of local people. Therefore, the square is now only left with bottles and jars spread all over the place like a show.Bhaktapur · 548m from downtown

The entire eastern part of the Palace Square is the Royal Palace of Patan. Part of the Royal Palace was built in the 14th century, but the main building was completed in the 17th-18th centuries. The Patan Palace is relatively old, older than the palaces in Kathmandu and Badgang. Despite being devastated by the baptism of war in 1768 and 1934, it is still one of the best buildings in the entire valley.Lalitpur · 10.1km from Bhaktapur

Nagarkot is a village near the Himalayas in Nepal. It is located on a ridge facing the Himalayas. It is known as the "viewing platform of the Himalayas" and offers the widest and most beautiful view of the world's highest peak. The edge of the Kathmandu Valley is famous for its charming mountain scenery. Among all the scenic spots, the scenery of Nagarkot Resort is the best. You can generally enjoy the beautiful mountain scenery when you go to Nagarkot from October to March of the following year. It is 32 kilometers away from the capital. To go to Nagarkot, it is recommended to arrange a chartered car to and from, because the shuttle bus takes a long time and the shuttle bus runs infrequently.

20240615 AM: 1. The 55-window palace is located in Bhaktapur Durbar Square. Bhaktapur Durbar Square, also known as Bhaktapur Palace Square, is an ancient building complex in Bhaktapur Village, 15 kilometers from the suburbs of Kathmandu, the capital of Nepal. It is known as the "open-air museum" and "the essence and treasure house of medieval Nepalese art". In the 13th century, the Malla Kings established their capital here and built palaces, temples and other buildings. Before the 18th century, it was the political and economic center of Nepal. The scenic area is divided into three parts: the palace, the periphery of the palace, and the street area. It is a good place for viewing photography, humanities learning, worshiping Buddha and shopping. Due to the 8.1-magnitude earthquake in Nepal on April 25, 2015, the ancient buildings were severely damaged, and many buildings are currently under repair. There are three Durbar squares in Nepal, which were built by the three sons of King Rama VI of the Malla Dynasty. The other two are in Kathmandu and Patan. ① Address: Bhaktapur Village, Kathmandu, Nepal ② Transportation: Direct bus access, easy parking by car ③ Peak season: None ④ Time: 4 hours ⑤ Ticket price: 500 rupees (27.8 yuan) 2. 55-window palace: Built by King Bhupayendra, it has four floors and is famous for its 55 black lacquered sandalwood carved windows. It is said that the king had 55 wives at that time. Every evening, beauties showed their faces from their windows for the king to choose and sleep with. It is also said that the king was just 55 years old that year.

According to the tourist map, there will be a thangka square, a pottery square, and a dyeing square, but although the pottery is very good, you can't take it back. Some small defective products are thrown aside for tourists to pick up.

We were passing by and spotted it at a glance from the side of the road. The building was much larger than the buildings next to it, so we checked it out and found out that it was a royal palace, but it seemed that we could not enter.
