Disneyland Resort California is an entertainment resort in Anaheim, California, USA. It is owned and operated by The Walt Disney Company through its experiences division, featuring two theme parks (Disneyland and Disney California Adventure), three hotels, and the Disney Downtown shopping, dining, and entertainment district. Disneyland Park features Sleeping Beauty Castle as its landmark, with scenes from the fairy tale displayed inside. The Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge area recreates the streets of Batuu from the movies, where visitors can board the Millennium Falcon. Classic attractions like Pirates of the Caribbean, Space Mountain, and Haunted Mansion in New Orleans Square have been operating for decades, with daytime parades often winding through the park. At Disney California Adventure Park, Cars Land is modeled after the desert town from the movie, with Radiator Springs Racers remaining a perennial favorite. The Avengers Campus offers thrilling experiences like Guardians of the Galaxy - Mission: Breakout! and an interactive shooting adventure with Spider-Man. Over at Pixar Pier, the Incredicoaster races along the bay. At night, Disneyland lights up the sky with castle fireworks, while Disney California Adventure dazzles with a grand water and light show on the lake. Given the resort's size and long queues for popular attractions, two full days are recommended to fully explore both parks—hit the top rides early, then explore at leisure. Keep an eye out for hidden Mickey easter eggs scattered throughout the parks, as spotting them adds to the fun. After the parks close, head to Downtown Disney for dining and shopping to cap off your day. Disneyland was the company's first theme park, and also a theme park built by Walt Disney, which opened on July 17, 1955. Disney California Adventure Park is a theme park based on Disney's interpretation of California, which opened on February 8, 2001.United States · Anaheim

This is a Disney adventure park themed around California. Originally conceived as "experiencing all of California in one day," the park's entrance once featured a replica of the Golden Gate Bridge, vividly showcasing the state's captivating culture and rich history—the very essence the "paradise park" aimed to convey. Disney California Adventure Park opened on February 8, 2001. Originally the parking lot for Disneyland, it has since evolved into a vibrant theme park featuring rides, shopping, and dining. From Cars Land and Buena Vista Street to Pixar Pier, Avengers Campus, and San Fransokyo Square, the park has continuously expanded over the years, with even more exciting additions planned for the future.United States · Anaheim

Port of San Diego is one of the main naval ports for the US Navy's Pacific Fleet. The harbor is deep and wide, with various warships such as aircraft carriers, destroyers, and nuclear submarines moored year-round. Standing on the shore, you can feel the massive scale of the warships up close. A highly recognizable landmark in the port area is the decommissionedUSS Midwayaircraft carrier. It is moored by the harbor and has been converted into an aircraft carrier museum open to the public, with various retired carrier-based aircraft displayed on the flight deck. In the park next to the aircraft carrier stands the "Embracing Peace" sculpture—a giant statue based on the classic V-J Day photo, capturing the moment a sailor and a nurse kiss. In the same park, there is also a group of bronze statues depicting a pilot who has just stepped off a plane, a kneeling nurse, a wounded soldier on crutches, a veteran in a wheelchair, as well as sailors, marines, ordinary citizens, and children. Strolling through the port area, red tiles and green trees contrast with the blue sea and sky, and in the distance, you can see the Coronado Bridge spanning the bay. On the other side of the harbor, there is a large private yacht marina with a forest of masts, offering a unique coastal charm. The pedestrian area is dotted with vintage sailboats and street performers playing guitar, as well as a century-old carousel.United States · San Diego

Griffith Observatory is located on the southern slope of Mount Hollywood in Griffith Park. This white-domed building, completed in 1935, is a classic spot in Los Angeles for watching sunsets and night views. The observation deck offers an expansive view, overlooking the Los Angeles Basin, the downtown skyline in the distance, and the Pacific coastline, while facing the nearby "Hollywood" sign. At dusk, the sun sinks toward the coastline, and as night falls, the city lights gradually fill the entire basin, creating a particularly magnificent scene. Films such as "Transformers" and "La La Land" have been shot here. The museum is packed with highlights: the Foucault pendulum hanging in the central hall swings continuously, periodically knocking down wooden pegs on its surrounding rail, visually demonstrating Earth's rotation. The dome is encircled by astronomical-themed murals painted by artist Hugo Ballin. The lower exhibition hall features a model of the solar system's planets suspended from the ceiling, while a massive photo wall spanning tens of meters displays millions of galaxies, accompanied by a statue of Einstein pointing toward it. In the central dome theater, visitors can recline in their seats and follow the live guide to explore the stars and the cosmos. During daytime visits, travelers can observe real-time solar images through the solar telescope in the exhibition hall. On clear nights, the rooftop Zeiss refracting telescope is open to the public for stargazing, and millions of travelers have gazed at the stars through it since its construction. To catch both sunset and night views in one trip, it's recommended to head up the mountain early, allowing ample time for exhibitions and waiting for nightfall. Weekends and holidays draw large crowds, often causing traffic congestion on the mountain road.United States · Los Angeles

We had great WiFi and the air conditioning worked great. The room was large, spacious and clean. The restaurant is a few minutes walk down a beautiful jungle path. The food in the restaurant was good but we couldn't sit outside for long due to mosquito bites. This is an ideal stay as there are orangutans and sun bears and you can walk right into the rehabilitation centre saving money on travel. The staff were polite and helpful and looked after our luggage while we were out. We were hesitant to stay here after reading the reviews but when we arrived we were really confused as it was much better than the reviews said!

Ticketing is convenient and quick. The world's first Disney park is a bit old, and the castle looks somewhat shabby, but it's the first one! The fun atmosphere remains undiminished, and the food prices inside the park are reasonable, similar to those outside, and the taste is also good. Visiting both parks in one day is perfectly feasible.

It felt a little different from Disney Resort in Japan! It was exciting to ride Cars, a ride that doesn't exist in Japan!

Actually, the queue wasn't too long, but the speed pass saved a lot of time. It was easy to buy and the entry was smooth. The most fun ride was Mario. The roller coaster looked a bit scary, and although I was tempted, it wasn't suitable for older people, so I skipped it. Los Angeles is too sunny, so be sure to take precautions against the sun.

I watched the most expensive movie of my life, experiencing naked-eye 4D, a seamless 16K giant screen, and 360-degree surround sound in a $2.3 billion giant sphere. It was incredibly immersive. The only minor drawback was the lack of subtitles. (75 minutes of English listening practice included.)

San Diego is a gentle city bathed in sunshine. The Spanish-style buildings in Balboa Park gleam warmly in the sunlight, and beside the massive silhouette of the HOUSTON aircraft carrier, the Kiss of Victory sculpture captures an eternal sense of joy. Colorful houses huddle together in the Old Town, and the aroma of burritos wafts from street corners. The most pleasant experience is lying on Coronado Beach at dusk, watching the Pacific waves gently lapping in—unhurried and peaceful, just like the perfect California sunshine.
