Zubizuri
Zubizuri was completed in 1994 and designed by Calatrava. The parabolic arch stands 14.6m high and is formed from a curved steel pipe with a diameter of 75 cm, resulting in an exquisite design. A must-see attraction for a trip to Bilbao. The transport bridge, completed in 1893, is still running, connecting both sides of the River Nelvión. It is listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, witnessing the industrial age of the 19th century. Visitors can walk or drive to the "cabin bridge" (fare 0.55 euros, fare 1.75 euros in June 2025).

The cable ferry bridge transports vehicles and pedestrians to the other side of the river through a huge bridge box. You can also take the elevator to the top of the bridge, walk on it, and enjoy the entire cityscape of Bilbao.
The one-way ticket price is 4.5€.

The church was built in Santiago in the 17th century. It is dedicated to James, one of the 12 disciples of Christ. He was revered as the patron saint of the Christian country of Spain in the 18th century. It flourished due to the pilgrims. The side corridor is a pilgrimage route that can be walked around the church. The remains of James are placed in the underground altar.
