It subtly weaves in the legendary story of Shen Wansan, a historical merchant figure, to string together the essence of Zhouzhuang's water-based charm, commerce, local traditions, and emotions. Advanced light and shadow technologies transform BaiXian Lake into a flowing canvas, where the classic scenes of little bridges, flowing water, and housings are revitalized. With Wupeng boats gliding through the water, the echo of fishermen's songs, and the elegant melodies of Kunqu Opera, the performance vividly brings to life the daily scenes and inner world of the water town's people through chapters depicting "fishing, farming, and commerce."
