Reviews: Monterey Peninsula + 17-Mile Drive 1-day tour [Premium small group of no more than 12]

Despite revisiting the same places after 10 years, the Monterey Peninsula in winter, 17-Mile Drive, and Carmel-by-the-Sea still offered a completely different travel experience. Especially the driver and guide's excellent commentary throughout, the comfortable ride, and the meticulous attention to detail; every moment was filled with surprises and warmth. The return journey along the vibrant California Highway 1, arriving back at Macy's on time, was wonderful.

Fabulous. The crew was fantastic, ensuring the well-being of the passengers from beginning to end. The captain was very involved in the cruise. He even made an unexpected 10-minute stop on the return journey because we came face to face with a whale. As a result, we returned 10 minutes late. I highly recommend it.
Reviews: Monterey and 17 Mile Drive: Half-Day Electric Bike Rental

The 17 mile drive loop is amazing but many sections have no dedicated bike lane so you’re right up against traffic. Tourists in cars are busy taking in the sights and the locals are generally annoyed by the tourists on bikes and in cars so can be a bit nerve wracking if you don’t have much experience on a bike. Obviously nothing the tour operators can do about any of this but, just a heads up!

We had the most amazing and fun day ever, our guide Cameron is an absolute legend! He was so knowledgeable and at the same time such a joy to spend the day with, the entire family had a blast. Such a good idea to do this, and I highly recommend anybody visiting to do the same. Cameron is a true American but we loved his attempt at an Australian accent. He was such a laugh and anybody I know that travels from our home in Australia to come and visit LA, I will be recommending they do this tour without any doubt. A firm 5 out of 5. ⭐️
