It takes about 4 hours drive from lijiang to reach Lugu lake and another 4 hours to drive back so it will just be quick stops of about 10-20 mins for each view point. The trip is organized very well, with driver pick up from the old town between 6-630. Driver will reach out the night before and let u know the time and where to wait. I was not very lucky in that the driver sends me a pin location and basically I just went to the pinned location and it turns out the pin was not accurately placed. It should have been the opposite of the street. The problem was that to go to the opposite side I would have to go uphill first in order to find opening to the street barrier to cross the street. Thinking I was already late, I had to run. Sweaty and then finding out that the driver is late by 15 mins, I was really grumpy when I get on the shuttle bus to start the trip thinking it’s really FML. Lugu lake is really beautiful though

A very good and convenient tour! The tour guide 张云孙 Zhang Yun-sun was amazing, I don’t speak Chinese so he was very helpful with me, he was looking for me and using the traductor to help me to understand! The price is very good because you can go to all the places in a very convenient car, also the timing of the intinerary is very good. In fact, my tour group was a little bit slow than it was expected and he changed everything for our group and wait for us to be more convenient. He is a really nice guy and I really recommend this, it’s very safe and convenient for any kind of travelers, mostly for the solo travelers!!! Highly recommend!!! ✨✨🙌🏻

The day trip to Jade Dragon Snow Mountain was a fantastic experience. Our driver, Ah Zhi, was patient and responsible, driving smoothly and quickly, and providing detailed explanations along the way. We saw the golden sunrise on the mountain, reached the summit at 4680 meters, and were also amazed by the beauty of Spruce Meadow and Blue Moon Valley. I hope to have the opportunity to come again.

The driver was very nice, and the scenery was absolutely stunning. I feel that Baishuitai is the most worthwhile stop on the entire Northwest Yunnan route. Here are some unedited, unfiltered photos for your reference. The driver gave us plenty of time to explore and never rushed us 😂. There were no set meeting times; we could play until we wanted, and rest on the bus when we got tired. It's definitely worth signing up for!

Rachel contacted me in advance through email then through WeChat to explain the details of the join in tour. Then a group WeChat was created together with the driver.I was told that this was a Chinese speaking join-in tour without a tour guide and I understood. Everything went well until I was singled-out from the rest of the Chinese speaking group. However the driver still looked out for me through WeChat asking where I was and told me I should be where at what time. After finishing the Lijiang Impression show at about 1430 pm I was asked about a group meal which I declined. The driver explained that the others in the group were going to be late (when asked how late he said very late about 1930-2000 pm late)and gave me the option either to wait for them or go back home myself taking a taxi/bus. I opted for the bus but have to pay RMB15 for myself he said. He gave me instructions on how and where to board and get off the bus. I got off at Guchengkou
