The tour to Mont Saint-Michel was well-organized. Our guide, Stephen, was friendly and knowledgeable, taking us along scenic off-the-beaten-path routes. The coach was comfortable and uncrowded, with punctual timing throughout. Though pit stops helped, the 5-hour drive felt slightly long—an overnight stay would be even better.★

We participated as a family of four on September 12, 2026. Trip.com's instructions said to arrive 15 minutes before the meeting time, but the tickets we received said to arrive 30 minutes early. We arrived early just to be safe, and there were already quite a lot of people there.
It was our first time at Mont Saint-Michel, and we were very satisfied.
We met a little after 4 PM and headed back by bus, but apparently there was a tunnel accident along the way, causing a two-hour traffic jam! We were scheduled to arrive at 9 PM, but ended up arriving at 11 PM. Bus trips can have these kinds of problems, so it's important to plan your schedule with plenty of buffer time before and after the trip.★

The trip was all we had hoped for. There was the perfect amount of time to see all of the Abbey, eat lunch and do a little shopping. It was a little disappointing that 55 people on the bus had to sit and wait 20 minutes for 1 person when the guide had told us if we weren’t back we would need to find our own transportation back to Paris. The majority of us arrived early to be sure to get back on time but still had to wait an extra 30 minutes★
