Reviews: Peking Opera show at Liyuan Theater

Heads up: the theater is in a hotel! We walked to the address given by Amap but couldn't find it. The theater is actually inside the hotel at the location shown on the map (see photo 1). The show was excellent! It's a great introduction to Peking Opera. It features three excerpts in different styles (comedy, dance, and tragedy), and the time flies! Small screens are placed on either side of the stage with subtitles and English translation, which helps with understanding and immersion in the story.

I booked tickets through Tripcom. I arrived at the theater at the appointed time, they gave me tickets, and I had very comfortable seats. Thank you very much. The show itself was very interesting and colorful, and it left a strong impression. The actors perform incredible stunts, while still being able to joke and interact with the audience.

The internet signal is excellent, installation is very easy, and it's convenient to use. The internet is quite fast and there are no problems. I got a phone number to use for ordering food, so it's worth the price.

This was lovely. The rows of seats are a bit narrow, so it's hard to get past people. Also, the back seats are a bit loud with kids, so I recommend springing a little extra on a premium seat. But that's where my complaints end. This was a phenomenal experience. The actors are full of vigour, the performance was exhilarating, the stage effects and visuals were a feast for the eyes. I would recommend this 100%.
