This is one of the places I really wanted to see before moving to Beijing and I only got to see it a week before I left. I can happily say it was 100% worth the wait. Beautiful from every angle and the water adds a stunning reflection that makes it even more photogenic. I spent about an hour walking right around it and took well over a hundred photos of it. As the sun set the photos changed and gave it a new look. It was really easy to get to, there are train stops right to the north and south of it so you don’t have to walk right around it if you don’t want too. I did not go to a show there but friends have and they loved it. So I guess it’s lovely both inside and out! #thisischina

One of the great moments of my Beijing trip was to see the beauty of National Centre for the Performing Arts at the evening. It is also known as NCPA in short form. This egg shaped building is a sign of great modern architecture in China.

Absolutely top-notch theatre design in China, I think this is Paul Andrew's most challenging design work. It's very suitable for bringing kids to check in. Tips: The theatre is large, it is recommended to play for two or three hours. The light at the window is great for taking pictures and checking in. You can buy show tickets directly and visit at the same time.

There were even some fast food restaurants! 🍟🖼️ Our workplace took us to see a Beijing Opera show, which is very different from opera as we know it in the West.
