This tour was excellent. We walked to various points around the city centre (thankfully not a huge amount of walking, though, as York city centre is pretty small), and were told about macabre events in York's past and possible ghostly sightings at each location. The tour guide (Mackenzie?) was excellent and delivered the material in a very engaging way. I went with my cousin, who was visiting the UK from Australia over Christmas and New Year. I would definitely recommend this tour.

I loved how he had the kids so excited to see what he was going to do or say next. my 8 year old son turned to me part way and said "Mummy i am loving this, its the best"

Our character guide Sherlumbo was great, it was just me and my wife in the group. Very funny and engaging tour, fun trivia, history and bonus chocolate. Would recommend. 10/10 well worth the price.

It was a nice walk in the city center. Our guide was very knowledgeable and entertaining. His stories are animated. The walk was just right in terms of distance and duration. There were many of us in the tour but it was very organized and our guide made sure we were fully engaged. This is a really nice way to spend the evening in York. I highly recommend.
