Located at the city centre, Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre. This is the best aquarium I had visited in my life! Me and my family had a great time as there were thousands of aquatic creature exhibited through out the journey in the aquarium. Along the way, we will see the different exhibition showcase to the visitors such as, evolution zone, the stream, shipwreck, flooded forest, living oceans and many more. Luckily, we had a chance to experience the feeding session at 12pm by the professional divers giving food to sea turtle, stingrays and fishes inside the huge aquarium. It was really amazing to experience an educational journey through Aquaria KLCC, we spent about 2 hours for the tour, attending their feeding show is the highlight for me. The tunnel also the main attraction where a lot of marine life swams past the tunnel, could even spotted 3 tiger sharks and 2 sea turtles while going through the tunnel! Not forgetting there is a souvenir shop before the exit, lots of nice & cute souvenir items for purchases. Journey to the sea without going out on a boat in Aquaria KLCC where there are many ocean species that I can explore such as sharks, stingray, lionfish and even a sea turtle! The most fascinating to watch are actually the jellyfishes, beautiful to watch and stare at, it’s just like magic. I was also able to see other wildlife animals like scorpions, tarantulas, rabbit. I would recommend coming here on weekdays where there is lesser crowd and you can able to take a lot of videos and pictures, lesser traffic and you can easily able to touch the corals too! It was officially opened in August 2005. Featuring 60,000 square feet (5,600 m2) in two levels with a 90-metre (300 ft) underwater tunnel, Aquaria KLCC houses over 250 different species and over 5,000 land and aquatic animals from Malaysia and around the world. Interactive information kiosks on fish and turtle conservation. It includes a themed retail area of about 5,000 square feet (460 m2). Aquaria KLCC is based on the journey of water from the land to the sea. The journey starts in the misty highlands, down through rivers, through the rainforest and mangroves to the coral reefs into the deep blue sea. There is a large food-court just outside the aquarium with many choices of food. The Aquaria is located in the lower levels of the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre. Really cool underwater world! They have a very long tunnel, where you just walk underneath the fish! The feeding show is really impressive and fun to watch. There are so many fish, it's captivating. Total walk with stopping to read, take pictures and enjoy the shows takes about 90 minutes max. Perfect stop for a rainy day! Just remember that it closes at 7pm and last entry is st 6pm An enjoyable outing and a place for both kids and adults to learn about the ocean. Could get a little warm in there in certain sections.
