Qingdao

Qingdao(Qingdao)It is located in the eastern part of Shandong Province, facing the Yellow Sea to the south and Jiaozhou Bay to the west.It was once just a small fishing village, but in 1898 (the 24th year of the Guangxu era), it was leased by Germany and opened as a naval and commercial port, after which it developed rapidly.During World War I it was occupied by Japan, but was restored in 1922 and became a city in 1929.The city's remaining red-roofed Western-style buildings and beautiful sea have made it a seaside resort that has attracted attention both from within Japan and overseas.Kouyōyama Park(Shogyozan Park)Although it is only a small mountain, about 60 meters above sea level, it is a great place to view the city of Qingdao.The most Aoshima-esque landscape spreads out within reach - red-roofed Western-style buildings line the gently sloping mountains that extend from the coast, and the sea stretches out beyond the roofs.<img src="https://ak-d.tripcdn.com/images/350f180000015a03j7D1B_Z_1000_0.jpg"><img src="https://ak-d.tripcdn.com/images/350v180000015l12x7FDD_Z_1000_0.jpg">Pier(Sanbashi)It was founded in 1891.A 400-meter-long stone pier juts out into Aoshima Bay.There is a gazebo ahead called Kairankaku.This pier is perfect for a leisurely stroll, with views to the left of the orange-roofed Western-style buildings dotted along the mountain slope across the sea.<img src="https://ak-d.tripcdn.com/images/fd/tg/g2/M09/8B/BD/CghzgVWw7H6ALkRKAD1BPYb4-ag359_Z_1000_0.jpg"><img src="https://ak-d.tripcdn.com/images/fd/tg/g2/M04/8C/19/Cghzf1Ww7HiAEhX7AB_H5ko0VOs011_Z_1000_0.jpg">Church of ChristGermany leased Jiaozhou Bay in 1898 and began construction of the city of Qingdao.Various vestiges of German rule remain, including Tsingtao Beer and German-style buildings.This Christian church is one of them; it is a beautiful building located on a slope lined with Qingdao's unique buildings, and has been designated an important building in the city.<img src="https://ak-d.tripcdn.com/images/350e180000015haueFC33_Z_1000_0.jpg">Eight Great Passes Scenic Area(Eighty-seventh century economic development)It was once a resort area for foreigners and government dignitaries.The area is neatly divided into districts named after the eight checkpoints of the Great Wall, such as Shanhaiguan and Juyongguan, and is home to around 200 fine Western-style buildings.It was also a famous villa area and was known as the "International Architecture Museum."The most famous of these is the first and largest building, Huashilou, built in 1906 as a villa for the German governor-general.It is also called the "Government General's Office" or "State Guest House."<img src="https://ak-d.tripcdn.com/images/350u1800000159yfv6D73_Z_1000_0.jpg"><img src="https://ak-d.tripcdn.com/images/100a0u000000j4wtsC082_Z_1000_0.jpg">Tsingtao Beer FactoryFounded in 1903, China's first brewery has over 100 years of history!It was originally built by a joint venture between Germans and British.After that, from 1916 to 1929, Kirin Beer, Asahi Beer, Sapporo Beer and other Japanese beers produced beer.Currently, the group's annual production is 1.9 million tonnes, of which a quarter is exported.During the factory tour, you can enjoy freshly brewed draft beer.<img src="https://ak-d.tripcdn.com/images/350w180000015g0ry631F_Z_1000_0.jpg"><img src="https://ak-d.tripcdn.com/images/fd/tg/g6/M01/D3/ED/CggYslbyakmAdRgWACg3u0jljSQ813_Z_1000_0.jpg">
