What To Expect
Spend a day at the famous 'Hobbiton' - the beloved shooting location of the Lord of the Rings, and the Waitomo Caves with only the most important people in your life on this small group tour! First visit the world famous Waitomo Glowworm Caves, and go on a magical 1-hour tour through the underground caverns. Learn about stalactites, stalagmites and other limestone structures, and see the Glowworm Grotto lit with glowworms overhead. Rest and enjoy your lunch at a Homestead restaurant before heading over to Hobbiton! See 44 hobbit holes, the Mill, the double arch bridge, the party tree - where Bilbo disappeared, and the Green Dragon Inn. You can even take photos at Bilbo's house, 'Bag End', and marvel at the fantastic views of the entire set in the distance. The tour ends with transfers back to Auckland, where you can take in the breathtaking sights of New Zealand on the way back!

Itinerary:
- Please note that the timings below are subject to change based on weather or traffic conditions of the day
- 7:30am pick up from hotel in Auckland
- 8:00am depart for Waitomo
- 10:45am arrive at Waitomo and enjoy a 1-hour Glowworm Cave tour
- 11:45am have lunch at Homestead restaurant
- 12:45pm depart for Hobbiton, tour
- 5:15pm head back to Auckland

Additional Information:
- Child ticket: Age 4-14 (must present a valid photo ID and must be accompanied by at least one paying adult)
- Children aged 0-3 may join free of charge
- Please note: A child seat is compulsory for children aged 0-7. Please indicate the number of child seats needed upon checkout. The first child seat is free of charge; succeeding child seats are available at NZD15. You may also bring your own
- This is a small group activity with a maximum of 11 participants and requires a minimum of 2 participants to operate
- If the minimum number of bookings (2) is not met before the scheduled departure, the tour on that date may be canceled. You will be given the option of booking an alternative date or requesting a full refund
- Please note: The exact trip time will be confirmed 1 day prior to your trip date and please check your email/message/phone in order to get the newest information. In addition, please make sure your phone is available so that our guide can reach you
- The tour operates in all weather conditions. Please dress appropriately
- The driver-guide with basic English-speaking skills will provide Chinese commentary. The driver-guide will be responsible for the ground transport and commentary at that time. A separate guide will be present at the sites and will be able to provide English commentary
- This tour is not wheelchair/stroller accessible
- Seniors, pregnant women, and people with certain medical conditions must check with their doctor first before joining this tour

Change & Refund Policies
- Free cancellation at or before 01:00 at least 3 days before the date of use
- Cancellations made after 01:00 at least 3 days before the date of use will incur a cancellation fee of 100%
- Partial cancellation of this booking is not permitted
